Hi Julia :) I was wondering if you or any of your followers know of a good online biostatistics course. I only went through one semester of biostatistics, but I feel like it didn't touch a lot on how to interpret actual lab data... Thanks!
hello!
firstly, that’s so awesome you’re taking a proactive approach to your own learning. i love it.
Khan Academy has some great tutorials on stats here. if you scroll a bit, you’ll see a list of the subjects. the subjects that i think are most relevant to lab data would be Sampling Distributions and below/following it.
Prism, a software a lot of scientists use to make graphs and do (very basic and preliminary) statistics, also has a great overview of statistical principles for research here.
And then, when you have a broad understanding of it all, Nature has great practical guides on a variety of statistical examples and issues here.
hope this helps!
