Here are some thoughts I had about them. First, I got the idea that way back when, Megatron used to manhandle both Chrome and Orion like that. Optimus loved it, and since he got bigger bc of the matrix, he now delights in having the ability to just twirl Chrome around. Second, this is like the first time the autoots have seen Optimus truly happy in aeons, like this man is smiling and playful, and the bots don't know how to even react.
