Me: I don't understand why people find gumshoe a bad character???. Throughout Ace Attorney, even in game characters have treated him like a joke. They have pushed him aside as a character and because of it he's no where to be found in the 4th game on. Despite the fact that he makes mistakes he is such a good guy?. He tries his hardest to help every situation to his best ability. He always gives Phoenix the autopsy reports, and always is so trusting of people that he tells them everything they need. In case 4 this really shows, he cares about Edgeworth so much, he showed so much more emotion than his typical "dumb guy humor" anger, sadness, pure drive, he did everything to help Phoenix, including giving him actually useful tools that made him solve not just Edgeworths case, but the DL-6. If it weren't for Gumshoe Edgeworth would be in JAIL for not just one but two murders, and yet he is pushed aside as some guy. ON TOP of this, he doesn't make the most money, and his paycheck has gotten cut for his mistakes, and yet he still treats EVERYONE including Larry to dinner after case 4, he is so caring and will help as many people as he can. Please love Dick Gumshoe.
