Balalaika “it’s not healthy to skip breakfast” - Smokes 24/7
Balalaika “if you are saving that kid from my revenge out of the goodness of your heart, Dutch, we will have a big fucking problem, but if it’s just business and you make money out of it, fine, i'll let it slide.” - Got discharged for saving a refugee child.
Complexity.
Astarion before his vampire days! I love the head canon that he had golden/amber eyes.
She's being so big and brave.
The long awaited sequel.
It's that time of year again, you naughty number-loving nerds.
Whether you chose violence or call it an accident, these NPCs found their demise in your playthroughs.
Not sure what Volo did to you all to deserve this.
More non-Dark Urge players also managed to murder Alfira than Dark Urge players. Spawn of Bhaal or not, maybe it’s time to stop pointing fingers.
Some of you faced the Absolute with the most powerful weapons, others decided to bring a charcuterie board to a fight with a giant brain.
Speaking of weapons, you’ve been very skilled at finding the rarer ones in the game. Shout out to the folk who willingly wielded the rusty Poo-Scraper in Act 3.
For some of you, the strategy has been getting the entire party pissed before entering combat. Bottoms up for Drunken Master Monks, we suspect you are partially to blame for these.
Kinda weird, but not judging.

Most welcome, Mr Dekarios.
Okay. For my money, the entire thesis of Chris Nolan’s 2026 film The Odyssey is that society chokes and sputters and dies when we abuse, ignore, or violate social norms like the laws of hospitality. That is not really what The Odyssey (the book/poem) is about, but I can clearly see why in the horror that is the 2020s, someone could read The Odyssey and go oh my god that’s a lot of bad dropping in. That’s a lot of bad visits. That’s a clear vision of how the loss of social norms and cohesion fucks you up and how war, literal, brutal war, is a terrible wound that destroys your humanity and your understanding of what civilization and society is. I don’t know that the iteration of Greek society that ultimately birthed the poem would agree with Nolan’s take, but I think this movie is quite ideologically coherent, that Nolan knew exactly what he was trying to say with each and every adaptational change, and I think he wasn’t nuts for using one of the most famous classical western civilization works as a way to make that argument.
THIS.
Yeah I think his stance is fundamentally legitimate and it's totally fair to want to draw your inspiration from such a major work, especially one that is so ancient that, fundamentally, it has no "canonical" version in the modern sense. My only grievance is that Nolan didn't make his intentions clear. The movie was faithful enough to the poem to look like an adaptation while simultaneously betraying - for lack of a better word - the spirit of the literary work as we know it. For a film adaptation, the plot was actually pretty much untampered with, but everything felt off. I feel like maybe he should have been a little bolder and openly placed a more significant distance between his work and the literary version(s).

Okay so I genuinely like the Odyssey. Like it was just a high quality movie
That being said…
There was certainly a few things that I had qualms with, some serious concerns and some smaller things I was personally just not crazy about
But the main thing
This movie wasn’t about Odysseus
It was a very good movie about a man having a very long journey home, but that man wasn’t Odysseus
At no point in the whole three hour run time did I think “wow he’s clever”. The movie said he was clever but it never proved it. Every choice he made seemed built on spite, sorrow, or even just pure stupidity
So yes very high quality movie that was beautifully shot, but no it was not about Odysseus
📜 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Doom Scroll Scroll, uncommon ___ This scroll appears to be a “spell scroll”. An “identify” spell reveals its true nature. On the scroll are the apparent mystical words to a random 3rd-level spell; choose or roll a d8 to decide between “bestow curse” (1), “fear” (2), “fireball” (3), “hypnotic pattern” (4), “major image” (5), “sending” (6), “stinking cloud” (7), or “tongues” (8). Regardless of the spell, the words inscribed on the scroll are faulty: a creature that attempts to transcribe the spell or cast it by reading the scroll must immediately succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be incapacitated. A creature that’s incapacitated in this way has a speed of 0. The creature can repeat the saving throw after 10 minutes have passed and whenever it takes damage for the duration, ending the effect on a success. Once the creature succeeds on the saving throw, the scroll turns to ash and is destroyed. ___ ✨ Patrons get huge perks! she’s talking to me btw
It's a good thing that Black Lagoon is set in 1995-1996 because Could You Imagine if Revy had any kind of social media. Half her posts would be Pjackk-esque ramblings made after a few too many shots of Bacardi about her various weird lesbian situationships or how her life sucks and nobody understands her. The other half would read like Chris Pratt's "fat fuck Italian" tweet
