Ohhhhhh, man. I was wondering how Janai would handle Karim and Miyana, but plot twist!! I also am really curious that Karim did not once show an ounce of happiness about being a father, and only thought about what his potential child could do to avenge him 😬. Yikes.

I'm also calling it now: Ezran's going to end up hurting Zym with the fire rubies and regret his choices. That's my prediction.

Oh no, Ezran.... Of all the people I expected to start falling into darker places, Ezran was near the bottom of the list. And how he was ignoring Zym??? Unbelievable!

I am actually ecstatic that Callum has his priorities straight and is helping his girlfriend even if it means choosing her over Ezran. In my opinion, when it comes down to it, a person's significant other should take precedence over other family.

Also, self eating??? Holy shit??? I hope that we actually see where that leads instead of it just being a moot detail.

Jeez louise, starting this season off with a bang! Lots of things turning in motion from the get-go, but it's nice that everything that most of the fans want to happen looks to be happening. Love to see that Ezran is finally cracking under the pressure, and of course the Runaan screentime is much appreciated. Can't wait to see how Ethari will react to seeing him hobbling home still injured, lmao. I will say though that the one scene with Aaravos changing forms was really awkward since only his face was animated, though.

In an attempt to actually enjoy the ending of my favorite show (instead of mindlessly horking all of it down in a single sitting) I shall take my time watching through the episodes and write posts regarding my feelings about each one.

I am SO incredibly nervous and excited. Six years of being a Dragon Prince fan all led up to this. Here's hoping that it'll be a fantastic conclusion!

Ethari: ...Oh, yes. I must admit, when I saw him for the first time, I got quite a bit... sappy

Callum: I understand how you feel. When I saw Rayla after two years, I fir-got how much I loved seeing her face

Ethari: That’s sweet. How are you enjoying the Silvergrove, by the way? Have you tree-ted yourself to the bakery, yet?

Callum: Oh, the moonberry surprises are the best! I can see why they're so poplar

Ethari: I know, right? They're just the thing to spruce up your day

Callum: I tried some of the other pastries, but in comparison to the surprises, they were just oak-kay

Ethari: The surprises are delicious. When my husband and I were younger, I remember how he wood pine after those desserts as if they were the answer to life.

Callum: He's got good taste. Do you think you could convince him to branch out and try some tarts from Katolis?

Ethari: I'm not sure... but it wood-n't hurt to try

Runaan:

Runaan: If you're trying to understand the star arcanum, don't bother. Not even the greatest of elven mages could do it, let alone you.

Callum, without skipping a beat: It's the fourteenth anniversary of my Dad's death today. We used to love stargazing together when I was small.

Runaan:

When couples are separated, they often have trouble sleeping due to their partner not being there.

Ethari: I know, ha ha. I haven't had a night of decent rest since you left me.

Runaan: Oh I am so sorry, my love. Here, come lay in bed on my chest for a while.

*The next day*

Random Silvergrove Elf: Wow Ethari, the bags under your eyes are gone!

Callum: Of course!! What was I supposed to do, just let her die??

Runaan:...

Runaan, to Rayla: Sweetheart, I say this with the greatest possible love and respect, if you do not marry that boy within the next two years, I'll marry the two of you myself.

- Viren (the redemption was too little, too late)

- Karim's last shred of dignity (imagine betraying the woman who loved you and being absolutely humiliated on the battlefield when your old fart of a dragon didn't show up all because you were racist)

- Zym's relevance (the show is literally called The Dragon Prince and yet his screentime has been on the steady decline since season five)

- Leola (being kind to humans is the worst crime in the universe and punishable by death, apparently)

- Tiadrin and Lain (you didn't deserve your fate, but at least you're together in eternity)

- Claudia and Terry's relationship (Terry let Claudia chose her own path, and was surprised when the path quite literally took her away from him)
