Everyone's analyzed the hell out of the songs on Finn's playlist and I love it but I haven't seen anyone talk about potential reasons behind the name being STurn. Why STurn? Capitalizing the ST is definitely a stranger things reference but what about the rest? It's not ST-urn, because urn doesn't make sense both as a single object or trying to find any acronyms, and it's obviously not Stern because he'd have spelt it that way so it's S-Turn. And what is an S-Turn? At it's basic it's going one direction, doing a 180 turn so you're going the opposite direction, and finally doing a 180 again correcting yourself back into the same direction you were going in the first place. AKA, Mike started as in love with Will (or well on his way to being in love), then his internalized homophobia had him over correcting with El, and now in season five he's finally back on track with loving Will. It's always been Will.
