hey guys! how is everyone's day?

y'all won't guess what happened today (or just right now)—i went back to drawing!

i used to draw a lot before (trad, mostly water color) then went digital this year. however, my busy college life did not allow me to harness my drawing skills more, so i stopped illustrating for awhile.

recently, i've hoarded art prints from local artists within my country and was inspired to get in touch with my creative juices again. everytime i glance at my art wall, i'd think to myself: "hey, that color scheme is pretty good.. oh, maybe this style of art will go along with mine.."

now, at 11 pm, i spent two hours illustrating sukuna from jujutsu kaisen. it took me awhile to do the clean sketch after the rough draft, and boy, did coloring take so long. i'm not even finished, as you can see in the photograph attached in this post!

but the fact that i had the time to get in touch with something i used to love brought me joy & warmth tonight. despite the business, the burn outs, the setbacks and everything that comes with [signing up] for the adult life, i'm still the creative person i grew up to be [just somehow forgotten!]
