tumblr has now blocked the Luigi Mangione tag – "luigi mangione", the "deny defend depose" tag, and other tags such as "luigi mangione thoughts", "united healthcare" and "UHC shooter", tags which have been used by tumblr users to spread information about Luigi and the cases against him since he was arrested in December 2024. the Luigi Mangione tag being blocked on tumblr also means that nobody on tumblr can actually search his name to find out information about him on this site. this is blatant censorship, to effectively prevent people from speaking up for Luigi or sharing information about him. censorship of this kind, specifically regarding Luigi, hasn't been seen on social media sites in about a year, when reddit and tiktok had both censored Luigi's name being used on their sites earlier last year.
