The design for my Starbucks mural in Seatac airport was a year in the making. We started with the idea of a “map” of Seattle. I worked that concept into imagery illustrating a memory of flying into Seattle. From the airplane window, all of the waterways and trees leave a lasting impression. Over top of the magical landscape, I placed an abstract perspective map of the iconic Starbucks locations: the original store next to Pike Place market, the Roastery on Capitol Hill, and Headquarters in SODO ☕️ Look for it in the “Starbucks Evenings” store in SeaTac’s central terminal 💚 layout by @catherinehubert
