This is a dream of mine come true, as I’m sure, it is a dream of many.

I am very excited and I am going to watch this and keep it forever on my DVR and in my heart.

Weird Science will be released on Blu-ray on July 23 via Arrow Video. Tracie Ching created the new cover art; the original poster is on the reverse side. A Steelbook edition will be available exclusively from Zavvi.

The 1985 science fiction comedy is written and directed by John Hughes (The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off). Anthony Michael Hall, Ilan Mitchell-Smith, Kelly LeBrock, Bill Paxton, and Robert Downey Jr., and Robert Rusler star.

Weird Science has been newly restored in 4K from the original negative. It features both the theatrical (94 minutes) and extended (97 minutes) cuts in HD, plus the edited-for-TV version (95 minutes) in standard definition.

The disc features original lossless stereo audio, plus 5.1 DTS-HD MA surround option on the theatrical cut. Special features are listed below.
