Jump in the Pit

I have not had a single good day this year so far. Every day has been a shitshow in one way or another, and I'm kinda reaching the end of my rope.

I wish I could say I did any good last year, but I genuinely don't think I did anything. I don't remember any significant events from 2025 outside of dislocating my shoulder two days after Christmas, and my work slowing down and signalling the beginning of it's slow death in September.

I watched a bunch of anime and played some games in 2025. That's about it. Now that I think about it, I mostly played a lot of Fire Emblem while checking out all the pre-Awakening games.

I don't have anything planned for 2026. I have a trip overseas coming up that I'm sweating bullets about, but that's about it.

2026 is already a total garbage fire and despite my constant attempts to pull myself up and think about the positives, every single day is bad news in regards to politics, internet privacy, and general freedom to do things.
