hello!! iโve attempted to make pinned posts in the past but now that i have more mutuals i figured itโs finally time for a serious one.
you can call me livie or sel! iโm 21 years old, genderqueer, and neurodivergent, and my pronouns are she/he. i run this blog alongside my imaginary friends, and we call ourselves โthe lovecatsโ (named after the song by the cure)! we are not a system, itโs just me and some pals i made up, but i do welcome and support systems!!
iโve been interested in web graphics for years now and have started posting my own (stamps and buttons mostly) on this blog. you can find all of the graphics iโve made on the my graphics tag!! we also have a sideblog for our hoard of reblogged graphics not made by me (@luvcatshoard), but any iโve made myself will be here. all my graphics are free to use, no credit needed but youโre more than welcome to credit if you want.

I haven't been that obsessed with a media since The Raven Cycle (from which I still haven't recovered to be completely honest), and I'm sooo eager to draw more of the foxes!!
I probably won't have that much time since I'm coming back to school tomorrow for my last year till graduation (It's already such a rush, I predict short nights incoming)โฆ But I'll manage to find time to draw them anyway.
I actually plan on doing an aftg series of illustrations like this one using the same format and color palette so, expect more!

I couldn't miss an opportunity to make epic geological phenotypes for eridians:D them rocks will look fly as hell on my watch!

For those interested, the igneous phenotype is inspired by granitic pegmatites, with hexagonal beryl crystals growing from it (of the aquamarine variety)
The sedimentary fella is a BIF, or a banded iron formation - a type of chemical sedimentary rock recording the years following the Great Oxygenation Event, with alternating bands of red jasper and magnetite/iron oxides:)
And the metamorphic eridian is inspired by an amphibolite, containing garnet gem porphyroblasts:)

Neil spent this spring digging up everything he could find on Andrew, wanting to understand the man whoโd caught Kevinโs eye.
Neil knew Kevinโs face as well as his own.
Neilโs past was locked in Kevinโs memories. It was proof he existed, same as this game they both played. Kevin was proof Neil was real.
Neil was glad for the distraction, since it kept him from looking at Kevin, and he readily accepted the hand Nicholas offered.
Neil meant to go after them but heโd made the mistake of looking at Kevin. Once he met Kevinโs eyes, it was hard to look away.
Kevin got right on his face and tangled his fingers through the netting on Neilโs racquet. When he started to pull it away, Neil held on tighter, silently refusing to let go. Kevin probably could have wrenched it away if he tried a little harder, but he seemed content to just hold on.
"If you wonโt play with me youโll play for me." Kevin said. "Youโre never going to get there on your own, so give your game to me.โ [โฆ] Kevin mustโve seen that in the unimpressed look on his face because he reached up and covered Neilโs eyes with his few hand. "See it the only way it really matters, where Exy is the only road to take. What do you see?" [โฆ] "You"
Neil watched them [Kevin and Andrew] over his shoulder. "I saw him first," Nicky said. "I thought you had Erik," Neil said.
"Now you [Neil] sound like Kevin."
Kevin checked Neil into the wall and pinned him there with a gloved hand to his chest
Kevin got his hands on Neilโs neck in an instant ans slammed him up against the opposite wall. [โฆ] He tried to knee Kevin, but Kevin crushed him against the wall with his own body.
Why did Kevin deserve all that? Why did he deserve Neil?
Neil could leave until he knew Kevin would be okay. He didnโt want to find out from half of the world away.
Heโd just cut the water off when Kevin knocked on his shower stall door. "The next time I come for you, you will follow me," Kevin said. "Why?" Neil asked. "Itโs time to collect whatโs mine."
As Neil surveyed Kevinโs damage he felt inspired again. On its heels was a hungry, desperate rush.
Neil was halfway through the menโs door when Kevin snagged his collar and hauled him down the hall to the back door. Kevin pulled it open and pushed Neil ahead of him through it. Neil stumbled a step, caught his balance a second later, and went to the inner court.
Kevin caught Neilโs shoulder and pushed him after her. Neil twisted out of his grip and swatted Kevinโs hand. Kevin made a second grab at him, but Matt reached over and shoved Kevin back.
Despite Kevinโs angry words and despite his rude impatience, Kevin believed in Neilโs potential. Kevin wanted to train Neil. He wanted to play with Neil, he wanted to shape Neil into the star heโd once been.
"So what are you going to tell Kathy?" Kevin asked. "That I hate you," Neil muttered. "You donโt."
Neil watched Kevin wilt beneath the weight of his brotherโs- no his ownerโs- fury and kissed his survival instincts goodbye. He grabbed Rikoโs shirt and hauled him back. "Leave him alone."
