no see it gets blasted but doesent break immediately and she freaks out because hes injured and he just tries to shush her and tell her its fine and THEN it falls off and she freaks out even more

Thats how he keeps losing his lightsaber now. The clones have gotten so good at retrieving it that now when his arm gets blasted off and the hand holding the saber goes flying, a clone just catches them like a wedding bouquet and tosses the saber to Obi Wan or Ahsoka.
