i made an onigiri bowl :D

i was attempting to make regular onigiri but my rice was not sticky so i pivoted

i used rice, tuna, mayo, soy sauce, everything bagel seasoning, peas, and strips of seaweed (nori ??? someone tell me the correct name pls)

i am Very Pleased with the outcome

you should make your own version because it’s like a really good fall/winter food (rice, can be warm, is comforting and easy because most of it is premade or can be easily made in batches)

so many people were super kind to me and helped me out (especially when mosh pit started and i am small and not very strong, people kept me safe) and i had a super fun time! i was worried i wouldn’t know enough because i’m kinda new to DH but they played several of my favorites and i was able to sing along or just aggressively nod my head (i don’t think i really can headbang but i can try)

also, one of the other groups was excellent! War of ages! they had a super super cool stage precense and their screen just played a video game (doom, i believe) because they just wanted to kill demons all night :D

i love their music too i just didn’t realize who they were til i saw them on the set list for the tour that i went to.

it’s fairly violent, true, but it shows how one person can make a real difference and positively impact a community. it has diversity, love, mismatched families, it’s just really good!

the violence is all things that you would expect in real life (it’s animals, predators vs prey) (characters do die but it’s generally extras and it’s handled well if you watch the entirety- unlike a lot of the reviewers online who left without watching the full movie and then complained about it)

themes/tropes: found family, grumpy father/brother figure x sunshine, hope in dire circumstances, overcoming struggles through community (power of friendship)
