Dear America,

I am worried about the outcome of the presidential election.

Each candidate has strengths that would benefit the future of America, but these candidates have similar qualities that make them just as lack luster. I do not know who to vote for and, to be honest; I believe that my vote does not mater that much in the presidential election. I know that I am voting for the candidate that I want to win the Electoral Collage of my state. But in a state that is still that is still stitching the fresh wound caused by Hillary saying “We are going to put a lot of Coal Miners out of Jobs” that was predominantly known for coal production, well it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out who is going to win that race.

 It kind of makes you lose hope.

 But…

 In the grand scheme of things your vote DOES MATTER. The state and local voting that takes place is an essential part of what makes America thrive. You are choosing the metaphorical gears of the grandfather clock that rings forth freedom from sea to shinning sea.

 So next time you feel like your vote does not mater remember that you are doing more harm staying home and not casting your opinion than staying home.
