Demi Moore. Average 80s fun, with Lee Van Cleef strangely cast as a fugitive ninja master. In the opener, he crosses paths with wandering do-gooder Timothy Van Patten and they team up to help an airport owner (Claude Akins) fight off a corrupt developer (Clu Gulager). The fight scenes and action sequences are very good indeed. The music is good, too. The story is basic and the two leads lack chemistry. It feels like an A-Team wannabe. The two guys even have a cool van! Created by Michael Sloan. Jan-Feb 1984: NBC aired The Master as a replacement for Manimal in the middle hour of Friday prime time after Legmen and before The New Show. Against it, ABC had Blue Thunder while CBS aired Dallas. 6/10
