Saint Patrick was a 5th century Christian missionary. He was originally British, not Irish. He was kidnapped and enslaved in Ireland as a teen. He escaped, and became a Christian clergy, and returned to Ireland as a missionary. St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) marks his death and became a Christian feast day.
The “He Drove Out the Snakes” really Means isnt actually snakes at all.. It’s just symbolic.
The “snakes” = pagan religions and spiritual practices.
Before Christianity, Ireland was deeply rooted in Celtic paganism. Nature based spirituality. Sacred trees, wells, land spirits. Seasonal festivals like Samhain, Imbolc, Beltane. And the spiritual leaders were the Druids (priests, healers, knowledge keepers).
Christianization in Ireland was actually slower and more blended than people think. It was not one big violent wipeout overnight. A lot of pagan traditions were absorbed into Christianity. Some rituals were rebranded instead of erased. Over time, Christianity did replace pagan systems. Druids and native practices lost power and visibility. Indigenous spiritual knowledge was pushed out or rewritten. Sacred wells became “holy wells” dedicated to saints. Seasonal festivals aligned with Christian holidays. The shamrock used (supposedly) by St. Patrick to explain the Trinity. But triads were already spiritually important in Celtic belief. Ireland did NOT have witch trials like later Europe. There wasn’t mass slaughter tied directly to St. Patrick himself…BUT… Over generations, paganism was displaced, converted, and culturally overwritten.
St. Patrick’s Day today is a cultural Irish holiday, Christian observance and a global celebration. But underneath it…
It marks a turning point where indigenous spirituality lost dominance. And Christianity became the dominant system in Ireland.

The new moon is 28°26′ Sagittarius.
This is a threshold New Moon, not a spark and go one. 28° Sagittarius is a late initiatory degree, so the wisdom before exit point.Collectively, this lunation asks for meaning audits like belief systems are being rewritten, truths are being chosen, not inherited, people feel less tolerant of empty motivation, and intuition replaces external authority. This is not new beginnings energy. This is conscious selection energy. What survives this Moon is what’s true, not what’s familiar.
The sun is 28°25′ Sagittarius and it is finishing a philosophical chapter. So disillusionment clears quickly now, people stop romanticizing what drains them, and there’s a quiet I’m done pretending realization. This is wisdom without bitterness. Truth without cruelty. The Sun doesn’t burn it illuminates.
Mercury is 10°57′ Sagittarius and this reframes how the collective thinks and speaks. This gives big picture clarity, storytelling instead of data hoarding, instinctive knowing, and people speaking from belief rather than defensiveness. The issue is, the blunt honesty and overgeneralizing that comes with it. But under a New Moon, Mercury seeds new narratives especially internal ones.
Venus is 24°11′ Sagittarius and when it’s this close to the New Moon, it asks collective values questions like, What actually feels good now Where has freedom been mistaken for avoidance? Where has loyalty become self abandonment? This is relational honesty without cruelty. Connections that can’t breathe won’t survive this cycle. And that’s not a loss it’s a correction.
Mars is 3°35′ Capricorn. This is the anchor of the entire chart. Mars freshly in Capricorn is our discipline over impulse, structure over chaos, effort with direction. So, this brings the desire to build something real, reduced tolerance for emotional messiness and, focus on sustainability, not urgency. This is our slow power entering the field.
Jupiter is 22°49′ Cancer (Retrograde) this turns growth inward. Emotional nourishment too external success. Home, safety, and belonging are redefined. People question what support actually means. This is healing of the inner family system. Expansion happens through care, not conquest.

The Gemini full moon is coming up, and I’m opening pay what you can card readings again (free is always okay, too). This has become a little tradition for me, and even with everything going on, I still want to honor it. ❤️
My mom just passed away, so I’ll be moving a bit slower than usual as I work through the messages. But doing this work genuinely brings me comfort and clarity and I love showing up for the people who feel pulled to me during moon cycles.
If you feel called, send me your name + question or intention. I’ll get to everyone in timing. 🌕✨
Thank you for your patience, and thank you for being here.
