I know I don't go here (as this isn't what I mainly blog about) but I need to talk about this. Fynnee having depression does not change the fact that they're a terrible person. I have depression and I have various ways to cope when I'm struggling, but excusing someone literally saying slurs because "this is how they cope" is not it at all. I'm glad mental health awareness is already pretty widespread or this would set us back by a substantial amount, because most people who see this situation and know anything about mental health will call out their bullshit. Those who defend them are willing to defend them because they don't see anything wrong with what they're doing. If you were a sane person hearing someone you know say those words when they shouldn't should at least shock you to some extent, you should feel repulsed by their casual use of those words, but defending them means you're only just as bad as they are. This situation only shows how aware a person can be of what's right and wrong, as the game includes many personifications of sin with one being ignoring the sins of another person. They know what they're doing is wrong, and they are willfully ignorant about it either through their own delusions or simply downplaying it. They turned a situation about racism and homophobia into one of mentall well-being and that on it's own is insanely fucked up. Nobody, no matter their personal struggles, should be excused from something like this. They deserve to face the consequences, it's not up to anyone around them to deal with the fallout of their actions because a path of hate and malice will eventually leave you all alone. What I hate most is seeing my friend upset about the news, he loved this game but he also hates seeing more Christians like himself turn out to be truly hateful on the inside.

I'm sorry, but I really don't like the arc they're doing in SMGF. It's like kind of pessimistic and petty. It's one thing to not be able to separate the character SMG4 from Luke himself but to make this whole arc painting him in a bad light for focusing on Glitch Productions after retiring SMG4. It really rubs salt in the wound for people who do love the show but unfortunately some people don't realize this is what SMGF is trying to convey. It's not some grand arc like "Oh no he left all his friends behind to focus in Glitch" it just feels entirely spiteful and also obviously like they're trying to gain traction from SMG4 ending and rallying those who believe that Luke really gave up on SMG4 solely because he wanted to focus on Glitch. You don't know him. I could get that SMGF was so popular because it really was just if modern SMG4 had a bit more of the style of old SMG4 videos with all that nonsensical and humorous chaos. If you wanted to make your own stories and arcs that's fine but don't try to base it around reality, there's plenty of ways to branch off the existing story without having to make it so... tasteless. Of course I've only watched snippets of it but there's literally nothing to it I've seen so far that has swayed my thoughts from how they currently stand.

Warning: This is a rant post and can be considered as basically nonsense other than me trying to get my thoughts out as they come to mind.
Controversial opinion but I really do believe SMG3 had the worst final episode out of the main cast. Now it is in no way a bad episode overall, but as a send-off for one of the characters that has received arguably the most growth over the course of the channel it's really disappointing that it wasn't really an episode for him, more or less just an episode for Luke and James to goof off with no script. This might be a direct result of people wishing they got more improv episodes with 3 and 4 but it sets the wrong tone when that's 3's actual last episode on the channel. Every episode that followed seemed to have something for each character and showed them achieving their dreams or having fun and ending in a heartwarming way. Yeah you could argue it's selfish to wish he got more when 3 is literally a prime fan favorite character and gets a lot of screen time already, I will say the best thing he got near the end of the channel was his fight with his past self and the version of himself in a world with no Mario. It's likely they just ran out of stuff to write for him in all honestly as his whole story was fairly wrapped up and there wasn't much left to do for him but really they could've came up with something, it makes me feel like part of some elaborate joke for getting attached to this character that just ended up getting "igloo" jokes and "There's no hope for meeee" in his final appearances. It definitely feels like there was a significant drop in interest with anything to do with SMG3 which is very hard to believe cause he's like the original original character, not a Mario recolor self-insert like 4, X and FM but a character made to be 4's doppelganger and rival. I don't think I'll tag this, hell I don't even like normal SMG4 episode reviews but I'm just left with so many questions for how SMG3 went from top tier to bottom tier within the span of a week. His episode being the first out of the bunch just made it worse cause I nearly gaslit myself into believing that the improv wasn't his final episode because there's no way they'd have his final episode be one literally without a script that only serves to be random filler and is only questionably canon right? Right?? No shade to Luke or James either, I can imagine an episode like this would've been just fine as a send-off for these characters to them. It's as simple as just two friends hanging out but yeah this was probably their easy way around writing an actual episode for the characters.
I've gotten better at making my renders stand out and adding some flair via a paint program (with some advice and tips from a friend hehehe) also this is part of an AU I'm working on, yes Beeg is older here by a few years. 4's just trying to bond with him.

SMG4 is dedicated to protecting his friends but lacks the capability to protect himself. SMG3 prioritizes protecting SMG4 even if it means putting himself in danger.
