I love Meta Runner, it's one of my favorite Glitch series, but GOD, I hate it's fandom sm to the point to pretend I dislike the show
They are similar to the Murder Drones fandom, yk, blaming another series (in the case of MR's fandom, they blame MD) because theirs ended and being toxic as hell with Glitch's new projects
But in the case of MR this behavior is a thousand times more unbearable, they literally can't go even 5 minutes without mentioning that their series is forgotten and complaining about not being in the spotlight for two seconds. I still remember that when Glitch redesigned the store page and Mid Runner stopped appearing with the rest of the series because they no longer had any more merch (which is understandable), the fandom acted as if it was the end of the world.
Mind you, Glitch didn't delete the series or take it off the official website, I just stop appearing in the store.
Speaking of Glitch, the fandom acts like Glitch killed their grandmas just because their show didn't become the new One Piece. I genuinely don't understand why they hate Glitch sm, they created the show they love why are they mad?

Is there anyone here that still like metarunner?
The story is so good, the music is so good but the animation is not. Its the first glitch show and have a lot of cool scenes!
Now that ive had time to sit on it, i really dont like the direction digital circus went. Maybe i was just expecting too much from the mystery element it had going on for the first few episodes, but im not really a fan of how heavily the latter half of the show was mainly just character drama. Like its fine, it works, but the two characters it chose to focus on didn't really grab me and i kinda predicted the whole brain scan thing right at the beginning. Also the use of Isn't She Lovely was kinda sweet in the moment but also fairly jarring, and overall just a questionable inclusion to begin with. Overall 7/10 show, but not my favorite Glitch media. Meta Runner just speaks to me more. Im almost starting to think this studio just isn't for me. I haven't touched murder drones or gameoverse, and knights of guinevere, while a good pilot, doesn't really hook me. Gaslight District is cool as hell tho whens that getting a full series announcement anyway whatever im going to bed
