I just received the Fatgum crop hoodie and just pulling it out of the package there’s discoloration on the white vinyl and a little scissor snip of a hole in the hood that is nowhere near the seam. I’d typically take this up with a shop but after seeing her past avoidance to help customers and the Black Panther hoodie incident (which I regrettably saw after placing my order), I’m just going to cut my losses.

wish i found u guys sooner 😔 i bought a hoodie from them their frozen collection in july 2019 that was “supposed to be released before the second movie”. i heard about this company through some cosplayers i liked and thought it sounded like a good shop. i was so excited to get this hoodie but?? literally EVERYONE else kept getting this hoodie but me?? it took an entire YEAR to send it and the quality was absolute sh*t. i just got it last month. never again worst 60+ dollars i have ever spent

Ok so, I’m going to send a few of these talking about products and then I’m going to talk about her design plagiarism. (The letter isn’t tradable to me) so I’ll go in order of products: Voltron Shiro bomber (Christmas present for a friend): came in quickly and I got it to him in time. Jacket was good quality and the customer experience was nice. If only I had taken others warnings before I ordered the rest. -X

Hey hey! Ok second go. Here are products that I ordered for myself: Tsuyu bomber jacket- good quality surprisingly, but it did take a year to get it, ordered in January of 2018 and received January of 2019, a few loose threads that were shipped and I did noticed that the buttons were in a little loose. Took them to a seamstress and she put in new ones for me that wouldn’t come off. Ok, next two orders: Tsuyu hero crop hoodie and allura (voltron) crop hoodie. I ordered both in late January of 2018, and I checked with them in May of the same year on an update to which they had none yet. About a week later 1/2 of my order shipped and I received the allura crop. It was ok, I could tell it wasn’t exactly the best thing made out there but I did start hand washing because it started to come apart in the washing machine. Ok, next two orders: Tsuyu hero crop hoodie and allura (voltron) crop hoodie. I ordered both in late January of 2018, and I checked with them in May of the same year on an update to which they had none yet. About a week later 1/2 of my order shipped and I received the allura crop. It was ok, I could tell it wasn’t exactly the best thing made out there but I did start hand washing because it started to come apart in the washing machine. So the next thing that was ordered was the Tokoyami bomber jacket. I ordered one that was in stock, and it shipped in about a month. This was the one that tipped me off, the jacket was very poorly made. The buttons rattled when they were moved, the lining inside was incredibly cheap and I ended up having to replace it because it frayed inside so much and wouldn’t be sewn together even when I sewed it myself. I ordered the once upon a Dream bomber jacket in January 2019, it shipped in June of the same year (2019) and overall the quality was good but the buttons were not put in correctly, I tried it on and buttoned it up only to have one of them stay on the snap, slipping out of the hole, when I attempted to take it off Ok the last thing I ordered was the kero kero crop hoodie and the mermista crop hoodie. I ordered both in Mid-April and in less than two weeks the order was shipped and delivered. Overall the quality was good, the kero kero size was a little off since it was smaller than usual, and the metal on both has caused the fabric to brown in one wash, it’s left me dry cleaning it so that it doesn’t get ruined after I spent so much money on these. So overall view: were the products all ok at least? Yes minus the Tokoyami jacket. Would I buy any of them again? Honestly no, I can get better clothing for less in other places, and I think that after her horrible customer service stories that I’ve heard I’d like to not support her. She gives a lot of PR to big cosplayers, but I wish they knew who they were supporting when they wear her stuff.
So, I've been sitting on this for a while because honestly I thought it was just myself that had been hit. But, I can't have been the only person that ordered the History Maker Crop Hoodie back in August 2019 and gotten one that's completely the wrong colour, right?
sadly, most of their designs don't match the advertised color. but if anyone else has this experience feel free to let everyone know!
So March of 2019 I bought the Kirishima crop hoodie, and I expected it to have the R on the stomach like the ones I’ve seen on the website. First of all, it took me 7 months to even get my hoodie, and when I got it, it wasn’t as red as the pictures looked. The red was more a maroon color. And the R? Wasn’t there. If I didn’t tell people it was the Riot crop, people wouldn’t have been able to tell.

Hey there, so I haven’t personally had any experience ordering from TKS, but her newest BLM hoodie seems like pretty performative activism. Making a hoodie doesn’t cost anywhere near $70, and she’s been pretty vague as to where she’s donating the funds. Has anybody checked to see if it’s legit?
No, her hoodie manufacturing would cost nowhere near $70, and I’m pretty sure thats more than her usual hoodies? This is a BLACK BASE HOODIE WITH SINGLE COLOR PRINTING. $70 is insane.
She’s shown she has no shame about making profit off of minorities, such as her tone-deaf pride sets (lets not forget her infamous hetero hoodie, being called out for it and her subsequent meltdown) despite being a cis, straight woman.
Of course you can be cis, straight, non black activist but all of her hoodies are marked up to the full, and in the end, despite donating, SHE will make the most profit from cost cutting and clout alone. It’s really gross to see, especially when she’s marketing to young cosplay minors who will be in the market for LGBT or BLM wear.
Unfortunately me and the other admin have not been able to find out where she’s donating, but the profit would be in the thousands. If anybody has any idea where this is going, please inbox us.
As well as that, the design is fucking awful -
- and considering the political sphere rn, as well as how rabid police are currently, would probably be dangerous to wear out in the street. But profit over the safety of protesters and minors, right Lupita? It’s not like the hoodies will show up sooner than six months anyway :)
In late 2017 I bought one of those Voltron kigu crates, and to this day, I only received just the Kigu. I am still missing a sweater, a hoodie, a hat and a phone case or whatever the hell was in there. I left them tons of emails and they only responded with, “please be patient”. It was an expensive purchase so to only get one out of five items feels like I was scammed. At this point they stopped responding to my emails. I even messaged her about it on DM and I got blocked for it. What a scam.
