I love Tim and Sally Botsford so much. They are absolute sweethearts. And they have Sally be the working spouse and Tim seemingly more stay at home, but they don't have to make Tim a total idiot in order to make Sally look more Awesome Smart Beautiful Girlboss. Rather they're both goofy and silly! AND they're both absolute sweetheart understanding parents! While still each having their own personalities/interests! I love them so much <3 <3 <3
Heyoooo so lowkey I realized that I haven’t shown much of my crafty stuff lately, sooo—
[SLAMS this post like a sticky note onto a whiteboard]
BEHOLD Pocky Wordgirl!!
Sooo for context, since there’s like very little actual merch for Wordgirl I decided to manifest the lil gal herself via needlefelting. While I have made her before, this time I wanted to try to make a design I could stick to rather than make it on the spot (something I’ve been doing so far for all my projects until now).
Below is the redesign in question + a WIP of her when she was only eyes hehe (´∀`)
While ambitious, rn I’m working towards designing n crafting every single villain and hero first (minus Huggy but that’s a post for another day, I PROMISE it’s not cause I hate him tho lol)
Also since I have alooooot of leftover wool, I currently plan to make some more while I’m on break and perhaps sell a few as fan merch (depending on if people want one 👀)
Until then tho I might make some silly montages with her lmao (did I mention she’s even SMALLER? Like a deck of cards can probably tower over her ahksbdndnd)
Exposition guy is massively underrated like hes got a wife. I wonder what their dynamic is like day to day
"Whoops sorry I gotta go tell a 10yr old about this crime"
IMHO he defo knows becky is WG but neither of them acknowledge this fact
Also he is sooooo basic. Like bro wears the same green hoodie, it's iconic. He's like a hippie mixed with a street hobo (in the most loving way possible)
We love to see it🙏
exposition guy has always reminded me of jeb and maestro conejo (guy cursed to run away every hour no matter what he’s doing (also has an understanding wife)) tbh LMAO
I think I'm ready to shatter the minds of every wordgirl fan. I come here to say that the Theodore McAllister the third, KNOWS THAT BECKY IS WORDGIRL. Don't believe me? Watch the video. In the episode, Becky lends him a book. He returns it. She loses it and blames it on him. All hell breaks loose. Wordgirl shows up. He sais to wordgirl and I quote "I returned that book you lent me." That YOU lent me. You as in wordgirl. But wordgirl didn't lend it to him. Becky did. So why would he say that? Unless, HE KNOWS BECKY IS WORDGIRL. WAKE UP WORDGIRL FANDOM. HE KNOWS.
Dude figured it out in his debut + meeting Becky for the first time in the original shorts, AND again in "By Jove You've Wrecked My Robot". So sometimes I wonder if he's always known and doesn't think otherwise but for some reason pretends not to know
So if tofu (often used as meat substitute) blocks Butcher's meat powers, would Kid Potato's potato powers be blocked by like some kind of potato substitute?

Questibrent scenario: Ms. Question being always insistent that she be the one to propose (being one who loves to ask questions of course). But when she’s about to propose, Brent beats her to it, getting down on one knee with the little ring box. Imagine how she might react to that dfjhaksdl
So since InvisiBill’s first appearance took place after the Villain School episode I’m just imagining a fun little scene of InvisiBill showing up to Coach’s villain school as like The New Student and meeting all those other villains
Can you find invisi bill reactions? I mean he's just so flippin' adorkable /)u(\
That last one was pretty difficult to figure out, but I’m proud of it.
I hope these are alright. I was not sure what to gif. And I do not think I have his first, brief appearance on the show or his first real ep. But there was a lot to work with in Plain Old Mischief Makers.

Me, rewatching the Miss Power episode and catching that one scene during the villains taking her on where we get a glimpse of Invisibill tied up w/others as Miss Power drags DTB: MY BOI TOOK ON MISS POWER I’M SO RPOUD OF HIM even though we didn’t get to actually see it up front I’M SO PROUD OF HIM 😭
I’m ngl, I’ve especially been brainrotting over like a director’s cut of the Miss Power episode where we see Invisibill’s side of the story, honestly just like all the villains’ tbh
I need to see them all preparing to kick Miss Power’s ass. OMG imagine like Ides of March but it’s the villains attacking Miss Power 👁️👄👁️
Everyone think about this with me
I want to figure out how Invisibill planned to attack Miss Power. I guess the obvious answer is that he turns invisible and tries to attack her from behind w/ a weapon but IDK
Imagine Invisibill going attack/murder mode
Maybe Left wrapping his hand around her (but keeping his fingers apart so people can attack) because he knows that because this is a kids show she cannot injure his hand?
It seemed like the two-brains attempted murder was a final act to scare the villains into not rebelling against her after she took them all them
ooh yessss
so I think "The Tooth Hurts" is kinda my least favorite Wordgirl episode because I feel like it kind of goes against everything that Scoops and Wordgirl/Becky went through in the Bunny Lovers episode. Let's discuss
yeah I really hate episodes where my favorite character is portrayed as a terrible person. (No this is not the first time PBS ruined scoops's character)
Yes same! I know kids can be messy and both Becky and Scoops can be a bit... impulsive? (not sure that's the right word). But this episode just made Becky seem mean-spirited, and Scoops needlessly petty.
And in a way that feels like a backtrack on the Bunny Lovers arc (and Bunny Lovers is like one of my all time favorites and one of the best episodes in the show to me keep that in mind). Yknow, the one where Scoops learned to put Becky's/Wordgirl's needs over his desire for the biggest news story ever? Sure, having to get a baby tooth removed may not seem as incriminating and important to keep confidential as a superhero's secret identity but it was still clearly important to Scoops that it stayed a secret.
The Butcher helping them make up with each other was admittedly pretty cute (he's such a sweetheart fr), but like they shouldn't have been having that particular conflict in the first place???
