BECAUSE YOUR BLORBOS ARE THEIR BLORBOS TOO. there is nothing you can do about that. and making a “call out post” against these people will just make you a bully who thinks harassing real people over thoughtcrimes and fictional characters is justified.

how people enjoy your blorbos and how they portray your blorbos in their fanfics, fan art, headcanons, edits are literally NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

the world does not revolve around you, and there will always be things that upset you. BUT the good news is that you literally don’t have to care or even acknowledge things that upset you at all. that’s what the block and mute buttons are for. you cannot control what other people do, even when it involves your blorbos, but you can curate your own internet experiences.

you can either be mad at strangers for the sake of fictional characters, or you can enjoy your fandom experience by focusing on the things YOU do enjoy.

the tragedy of mellodramattic is that those two kids used to be each other's best friends. they scraped their knees together, snuck out of class, splashed around in puddles in the rain, but none of that was ever meant to last. in the five years they were separated, matt and mello changed.

mello became bitter and resentful, shutting out absolutely everything and everyone who might risk getting in the way of his victory. he aligned himself with the mafia, throwing his morals aside in order to ensure that he won. he became the exact type of person he'd been trained all his life to hunt down.

matt stopped caring because it hurt too much. he didn't let himself think, because thinking always led to pain much deeper than he was used to feeling. escapism through video games didn't work anymore, not as well as it used to. cigarettes helped, but quickly became a mundane necessity when no one told him he "wasn't allowed" to smoke anymore. so he graduated beyond that, his life quickly becoming devoted to the pursuit of the perfect state of absolute numbness. he wanted to become nothing.

regardless of what they might think, matt and mello's reunion won't fix anything. they can't go back to the way they were. their childhoods were stolen from them by a cruel twist of fate, and the rest of their lives similarly warped into an existence they no longer recognize. it's painful for them to see each other after all that time, because even if they're physically present in each other's lives again, something was ripped away from them and they can never get it back. as much as they hate the people they've become and hate each other's miserable lives, there's still that thread from the past tying them together in a way they can't escape. they need each other, and although there's no real way to "fix" everything that happened, maybe they can find a way to start again.

anyone else super duper impatient/eager for Round 2?

obviously I want VIVINOS and QMENG to take their time. this isn't me hoping they post it quicker or anything.

I just have the most intense, impatient, tweaking tf out gremlin urges right now. AKSDASK I wish I could build a time machine, jump into the future, and watch Round 2!!

I'm also SO stoked that Hyulu are gonna be the main characters because omg... the possibilities???? We're going into this almost completely blind and that's honestly making me even more excited.

i luckily pulled Ivan before, so I had to get his bf. (Till, ur coming home!!!)

and OMG the opened-box Till and Ivan figures are so ridiculously expensive??? like why are they so PRICEY??? (ik why, but still. some resellers are just plain GREEDY. luck 50 bucks??? when the normal retail price is like 30 MAX? crazyyy)
