Marvel just made a ton of announcements on the future of the MCU.

May 6 2016 - Captain America: Civil War

Nov 4 2016 - Doctor Strange

May 5 2017 - Guardians of the Galaxy 2

July 28th 2017 - Thor: Ragnarok (This picks up immediately after the events of Age of Ultron)

Nov 3 2017 - Black Panther (age of ultron trailer has an easter egg)

July 6th 2018 - Captain Marvel 

Nov 2nd 2018  - Inhumans 

Also on we learned that Avengers 3 will be broken up into two movies.

May 4, 2018 - Avengers Infinity War Part I

May 3rd 2019 - Avengers Infinity War Part 2

That means a lot of things. That means some actors (including Robert Downy Jr and Chris Evans, I think) contracts have been extended. Or he’s only in one of the parts… though that seems sloppy. Maybe we’ll get an Iron Man 4 in 2020?

Also, I’m SUPER excited that Carol Danvers is getting a movie. A while ago I suggested (and got a lot of shit for it) that Wasp should get her own movie. Many of you reblogged or DM’d me that Captain Marvel was a better choice. Guess what, she was! And Marvel agreed with you!

Also worth nothing is that there’s no Hulk stand alone film yet. That seems like a missed opportunity. I’ll have a long think about this and write something up in the next few days.
