I suppose you’re right, Henry. I do not wish to interfere, but I do wish that Hannibal will one day know the truth. 

He will. When his mother believes that it is time, we will all tell him. I just don't want him to forget I exist. I don't want him to be hurt or confused. It's hard for some but I think Hannibal will handle it well.

Alice sighed happily and smiled at him. “Not bad at all, love,” she answered and moved as close as she possibly could, not wanting there to be anything in between them. “I’m so happy when I’m with you, Henry,” she said after a while of silence. “You have no idea.” 

Henry curls himself closer to Alice as he kissed her softly.  "And you make me so very happy, Doctor O'Malley," Henry whispered as he kept her close and kept her warm throughout the night.
