sometimes i think of an au where alex/someone calls dylan after norma dies cuz like that’s his Mom and he comes over and stays with norman for a while and maybe emma too and it hurts me

uh i kinda rambled in the tags and reached tag limit for the first time so reveal them at your own risk HFKSJDHD

#alex tells dylan what he thinks about norman a la wanting to kill him bc he believes he killed norma #dylan thinks so too but obv doesn’t want to kill him and isn’t sure what to do except put him back in pineview #and alex is very angry but compromises with him to do the 2 family member signature thing #which dylan still feels bad about bc it was the last thing he and norma talked/argued about #so dylan still tries to talk norman into it so he hopefully doesn’t have to force him #and norman i think still has the delusion that his mom is alive and waiting somewhere #so he still brushes off pineview and tries to act fine and normal so dylan and everyone will leave cuz he believes she won’t come back #until he is alone in the house #he keeps asking when dylan and emma are gonna leave (as politely as possible) but they suggest they won’t til they know he’s going to be ok #(bc they’ve seen him unstable before when norma left s3)#which would probably mean ‘not until you’re in pineview’#they have the funeral but dylan takes over for it and doesn’t let norman have any control which is REALLY upsetting for him #bc remember originally he had full control and how that funeral went so that’s what he wanted #but dylan doesn’t even let him speak at the funeral and instead he and alex do and norman storms out #edwards also calls/visits bc duh his patient just experiences a major loss and why did they cut that out of the s4 finale #and maybe norman begrudgingly makes an appointment with him to keep appearances #but before he has it #he gets really annoyed with dylan treating him like he’s crazy and not leaving so one day he sits him down #and decides to let him in on how he thinks norma is still alive and she’ll come back #bc the thought makes him happy so why wouldn’t it make dylan happy?#but dylan gets really upset and kinda blows up at him and norman is like welp #but then dylan is like you’re going to pineview and norman says yeah i know i have therapy tomorrow but dylan says NO you’re going to STAY #and storms off to sign with alex #norman is uh Really Upset and feels like he messed everything up by telling dylan bc now it’s not a secret and he might get taken away #so how will norma come find him?#and uh. yeah it’s very upsetting #i thought about it this morning and cried for real #why do i like hurting my own feelings #a little bit of a bates motel blog #k posts

1) she sits like this at random, like a littol smol bean
