The Fylls, a NYC indie band is seeking a 3rd vocalist to join the band. THE FYLLS are a New York City rock band who write songs infused with socially conscious messages couched in infectious, tight, upbeat grooves and harmonies. Influenced by bands such as The Pixies, Nirvana, The New Pornographers and Wilco, the band is comprised of songwriter Jordan Roads, on vocals and guitar, Erica Robinson on vocals and bass, Benjamin Patelsky on guitar, James D'Alessandro on drums, Brian LoBianco on Keyboard, trumpet and ukelele. The Fylls will be performing an average of at least 2 shows a month. The band has successfully raised enough money via Kickstarter.com to produce a studio album. With an earlier line-up The Fylls released the homemade "Living Rooms Little Album" in 2012. The band is looking for a third vocalist to help create a harmonies similar to The Beatles and The New Pornographers. They are heavily influenced by Pixies, Nirvana. There are a several live videos as well on You Tube. This is a band that can rock out as well as lay back. An ability and sensitivity to texture would be an asset for new members of our band. If you play an instrument as well we would welcome it, although we are primarily trying to solid up our vocal sound. It would be awesome if you could play tambourine while you sing. We have a studio in Midtown and meet Sunday afternoons for rehearsals.

When they turned this Brooklyn pool into a concert venue it became the home of many great shows and bands. Now they've turned it back into a pool to make the neighborhood more family friendly. That's not a bad thing... but, man, when it was cool the water was never too cold. The Fylls
