Day 6 of Werecreature August... Me as a Werefox! Also, it's my 22nd birthday! 🎂
It's just me as werefox holding my chocolate birthday cake.
I want to be a werefox so bad... I know it's weird for me to say that but I want to become a werefox.
So when I young I thought werewolves were cool and powerful, then I learned that werewolves isn't the only werecreatures, there are wererabbits, werebirds, werebears, weretigers, I think you get it by now. When I was growing up I often see some fanart or any piece of media of random characters as a werewolf or some other form of werecreature, whether that be in a transformation animation/comic or the character in their werecreature form.
Recently I gotten less shy about my love for werecreatures since back then I would probably be called a furry for liking werecreatures (just to note I don't think being a furry is a bad thing, it's the internet that says being a furry automatically makes you a bad person or makes you cringe, even if you're not hurting anyone), sharing my ideas of a few characters as werecreatures.
But now I've been thinking about making a werefox costume and pretending that I am a werefox under the full moon, going outside at night with the full moon in the sky somewhere where no one can see me and freak out or try to hurt me in some way. But I don't want the costume to look cheap or lazy, no... I want to look like I actually transformed into a werefox.
Digigrade legs, claws and teeth, fur, a tail, and look big and strong, also to be able to go from bipedal to quadrupedal. For the legs I heard that you can make some digigrade stilts, but I want to make sure I have a good balance while I walk or try to run or jump (if it's even possible) in the stilts. The claws would be sharp (for self-defense purposes, just in case), for the mask I want to be able to see everything without issue while I run around as a werefox, maybe as a bonus have the jaw move. For the look, I want it to look like I gotten big and strong without it looking awkward, to look like an actual half fox, half man creature of the night.
Of course I'm gonna need some wood, some faux fur (maybe waterproof faux fur if those exist), a faux fur fox tail, strong thread, good nails/screws, but what else do I need? Please give me some advice and possible good blueprints for the type of digigrade stilts I mentioned. When I have the money for this stuff, I'll try to make the suit, although the part where I need to sew it together is gonna be a difficult challenge (I'm not good at sewing, I think the last time I did that was for an art project back in middle/high school and I forgot how to do it, I don't want the suit to fall apart on me).
Also to note, I want to feel comfortable when I wear the werefox suit. I'm an autistic woman and I love to feel comfortable, I don't want to feel like the suit is trying to suffocate me like a pair of women's jeans (I hate jeans, they feel too tight on me), I want the suit to feel like a pair of lounge pants (or whatever they're called, it feels good on me).
Before you accuse me of something awful, this is not a fetish thing, I just love werecreatures and I want to turn into a werefox because I love werecreatures and foxes.
