        “Jyn Erso.”

The female replied with a slight nod of her head, trying to get a better look at Rey.

  “Where are you from?”

❝ Jakku ❞

The scavenger uttered back to the rogue. Jakku was really the only place she could remember.

“So Rey, aside from scavenging, have anything else you like to do?”

Michelle looks to her new friend, smiling. She was definitely interested getting to know Rey even more.

“I’m still trying to get a grip of this place…came in with a shuttle, stowed away in the supply cargo, so I’m kind of new here.”

❝ Ummm ❞

Rey thought about the question, she hadn’t really done anything aside from scavenging, what was there to do when you where alone in a desert planet.

❝ I enjoy watching the sun fall for the night ❞

Rey couldn’t help but chuckle at the other’s words, it was really no surprise to her that the other was new.

she takes a breath, deciding how best to answer. 

     ❝ i’ve seen a lot of the galaxy. but only the         bad stuff. and knowing how many other         things there are? GOOD things… things         like this place, beings like maz. it doesn’t…         fit my precircumscribed idea of the         universe. that make sense? ❞

Digits curl against tiers, hazel hues stare back at the other.

        { ♚ } Oh, thank goodness. 

        Alone, Hux would have, in all likelihood, been doomed to wander, lost, through the darkness until he either collapsed from exhausted, died of dehydration, or found himself prey to some kind of horrid little cave beast.

        ❝ Excellent. Do take caution, however. Even small scratches may prove fatal, if infected. In any case, and by all means, do take the lead. I will… follow along. Yes. I will follow along, while I keep a close watch for dangerous elements that may or may not approach from the rear. ❞

A sigh. 

An easy task this was not. Darkness was no ones friends. Not even hers, Jakku was not a place with street lights but it wasn’t pitch black like the cave. She’d find  a way out. Like her vision said once she’d use the force to help her through this predicament. 

“Then you’ve found the right calling for you.” 

         { ♚ } ❝ Absolutely not. This cave is terribly dark, and there are jagged rocks everywhere. We simply must cooperate if we’ve any hope of escaping this place unharmed. Now then- do hold my hand; we wouldn’t want to get separated. ❞ 

❝ and here I thought you where a general, I anticipate escaping this dark cave unharmed but a few scratches aren’t going to kill me. We do want to get separated, did you forget we aren’t allies? Fine❞

       ❝ Most certainly, Rey. The Force chose you for a reason-                     it will not abandon you in a time of need. And                     with further training… But be careful. Pride is                     folly among Jedi.❞

Hazels fell,              a smile followed.

Rey still felt pride despite Obi-wan’s words How could she not? First time with a saber and she was pretty bad ass at it. That and the jedi knight was proud of her for it.
