I said that I felt lucky for having a vagina EXCEPT for menstruation, childbirth, and difficulty orgasming. Menstruation, childbirth, and difficulty orgasming make me feel unlucky for having a vagina. I honestly think that menstruation and childbirth outweigh most of the disadvantages to having a penis. There are more disadvantages to having a vagina than a penis.

Something like 10% of women can’t orgasm. Far fewer men can’t orgasm.  Even the women who do orgasm, do so at lower frequencies than men. Thus, we experience far more pain in reproduction and far less pleasure.

I can’t orgasm. I’ve had one orgasm in my 19 years of life (it was in my sleep) yet most men orgasm on a daily basis.

& Please cite where I was being ableist. I was being ableist for saying “I’ve had mental illness too”? At the point in which I said “I’ve had mental illness too & I’ve been in and out of hospitals & a therapeutic school”, I said it because you said, “try being mentally ill like I am.” So I corrected you and told you that I have indeed been mentally ill.

& I’m not sure why you’re trying to use your illnesses as proof that women are somehow privileged.  Women are twice as likely to have depression and three times as likely to have anxiety disorders. Women are also more likely to develop chronic pain disorders, and experience more pain, and at higher intensity, than men.

I just spent ten minutes reading about why vaginas suck ass. I am so sorry. So, so sorry. Awkward boners, morning wood…That’s nothing compared to this shit I’m reading.

Let’s see, we got discharge, pantyliners (didn’t know those existed), booger period blood clot thingies, and the fact that, and I really hope this is just with some very special snowflakes, sometimes the farts go down the wrong tube or something. 

Mostly because of being genitally mutilated, which I know isn’t exclusive to males, but in the part of the world where I live, if I had been born with a vagina, it would be intact right now.

It’s not easier for me to orgasm.

It’s difficult for me to reach orgasm, and when I do, if I even do, the pleasure is not even worth it most of the time.

I would just use birth control to avoid getting pregnant. And to reduce the number of periods I got per year to the minimum.

Periods would be annoying, but I already basically have no life as it is, so what would be so different or worse about being in extra pain and agony one week a month, if that? I’m already in near-constant mental pain and agony, and frequent physical pain from chronic headaches and other issues as well.

You think that being a male is somehow so fucking privileged? If that’s so true, then why do I wish so bad I had been born a female instead? I mean, you even just admitted you feel more lucky having a vagina! It’s just like how you were claiming that it was somehow “ironic” that I said try dealing with the kind of shit I have to deal with on a daily basis due to my mental illness. One man said that all men had urges to rape, so I was concerned, so I searched “do men have natural urges to rape” & tallied the first 140 responses only from men, and a full 30-35% of the men said that men are naturally inclined to rape & that it is only society that restrains this urge.

The above is obviously a glimpse at what random people say on the internet so it’s obviously not very scientific, but you did say to “look up stuff that says that all men are born rapists” sooo…

I’ve spent more than 2 years now in feminist circles & I’ve only come across one feminist who said that men were naturally inclined to rape, and I called her out on her BS. Most feminists agree that rape is caused more by social factors than any biological inclination.

& I’d like to believe the law against rape is because men care about us, and that may be true in many cases, but we have evidence that, at least in some instances, laws against rape are because women are men’s property & rape is damaging men’s property. Take the Old Testament, for example. Rape was considered a crime against the victims father, because the rapist was damaging the father’s property, so the rapist had to pay a fine to her father. So basically men didn’t want women to be raped because we were their property.

T tends to get a bad rap. Some recent research showed that T actually made people more generous - as long as they didn’t know they were receiving T. If they thought they were receiving T then they became more aggressive. (Placebo effect.)

As for the comparisons to other species. Isn’t it cute how people like to compare men’s sexual behavior to other species in order to excuse their misbehavior, but then, as they try to claim that women are “naturally wired” to be monogamous creatures (in order to justify the sexual double standard) they totally forget about the sexual behavior of female bonobos, our closest animal relative, who have lots and lots of sex?
