The name Anakarys (Ah-nah-KAH-ris) is derived from the ancient Valyrian words naejon (forward/in front) and karyon (head). It translates conceptually to "The Vanguard" or "The Guide"—the one who leads the way. Anakarys serves as Aeva's literal eyes, guiding her through a world she cannot physically see.
The Appearance: Anakarys is a breathtaking, pearlescent silver-white dragon. Her scales shimmer with an iridescent, rainbow-like gloss under the sun, catching the light like a perfect sea-pearl sewn into a velvet sky. Her eyes are a deep, highly intelligent violet, mirroring the eyes of her rider.
The Birth: Anakarys hatched directly in Aeva’s crib at Summerhall. Because they have grown up together from infancy, their minds are entirely fused. On the ground or in the sky, they are two bodies, one soul. Anakarys can feel Aeva's exact emotions, heart rate, and vitals even when she is resting miles away in the Dragonpit of King's Landing or the dragonlair of Summerhall.

At royal events, her gowns all have a subtle hidden harness in them so Roz can secure her to the high backed chairs of court to prevent her from falling off them.
You know, I'm really not into fandom drama. I've been in bigger fandoms over the years, and the toxicity just ruined a lot for me, including characters I loved, because the harassment for liking characters that people seemingly hated was something else.
