I dreamt about you last night. It started as one of the most euphoric dreams. We were looking at pictures of us fishing, sitting on the porch in your favorite spot. We played dice and you laughed at the thought of telling my son, the prize he’d get if he won. You reminded me of who I was and how much you loved that I never cared what everyone thought. You reminded me of how resilient I can be. You told me its time to let go of the worry for everyone else. You asked me about life, asked me how everything is going… I told you how lost I am. You looked at me and said “You might be lost kid, you just need to find the direction of the ocean and walk.” You said this to me every time you could tell I was struggling. You knew I’d find myself again. Every time. No one has ever had faith in me the way you did. You were my best friend and biggest support and you’re gone. I don’t know what to do. I can’t call you. I can’t hear you tell me about the time we got caught in my first storm, you always acted like I wasn’t with you, but described it perfectly. I can’t hear you laugh at me when I’m yelling at the tv because HHH was robbed in that last wrestling match.
