People change when they met new people. For me, change is noticeable with another perspective and not by yourself. There's only one that I really want to share with everyone: Don't depend too much on anyone. Everyone changes when they met new people. It's temporary happiness. You'll come back soon with regrets. Knowing that spending your time with us is your happiness but you just let us go because you have an option to leave.Ā
You have an option to create new friendships.Ā
You can create a new group of friends. But don't forget the person behind that great personality. Behind that success of being a real person. You'd becomeĀ a better person.Ā
Don't mind me. It's just a matter of time that you're wasting. We're getting older and older. We need to be strong with the decisions we are making. Maybe it's just the beginning of accepting the real world.Ā
It's not about who is real to your face. It's about who stays real behind your back.Ā
Accepting that will make us grow. It will take apart of our dreams and daydreams but It's for us in the future.
Appreciation Post | LCPās Food Fest 2019
LEFT to RIGHT: Arman, Raffy, Kaister, Jorge, Phebe, Jessie, Aleesa and Lyka
Yey! 2nd event was successful! I noticed a lot of wrong practices that are needed to be corrected and may help them to continue making very helpful and exciting activities in the future. But I want to commend how they really work hard for it. Sleepless night and busy days just to make this event successful. They all know how proud I am when I see them standing with their positions and doing their duties and responsibilities. I just want to give you some motivation to stay your passion and love for LCP ā„
A lot of people are asking why I still continue supporting you guys even I already graduated. I know that a lot of students in LPU are looking for an organization that can help them to grow. The purpose of an organization is to create opportunities for leadership development learning, student engagement and fostering shared of interest. Passionate Culinary students are aiming for something that can make their college life exciting and meaningful at the same time. Weāre not here to compete with other people, weāre here to show our skills.Ā āTo be a champion, compete; to be a great champion, compete with the best; but to be the greatest champion, compete with yourself.ā
Kami langĀ āto oh. LCP.
I already graduated at LPU Cavite but the passion inside me is still burning. Lyceum Culinary League, the former LCP, helps me a lot for who I am right now. With the greatest professors of LPU Cavite, Ms. Queen Austria, Ms. Florabelle Tupas, Ms. Zhary Del Rosario, Chef Chris Bautista, Ms. Yorkah Tuazon, and Chef Wolen Superal. I missed the old times. The memories that will last forever. The memories that will take your passion still burning because they train us very well. They know that a CULINARY ORGANIZATION is very helpful to every CULINARY STUDENT. They know that our dream is to be on top, to be known by other establishments and companies that thereās a lot of students in LPU who are begging for experience in Culinary. I think thatās enough why LCP is still existing. We are fighting.
As a Culinary Pirate, you need to be a fighter. Work hard for what you want because it won't come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive.
A pirate portrays boldness with all means. You need to be that Pirate! As a Culinary Student of LPU, you grow with skills and creativity. When some people said that LCP is outdated, then use it as your motivation to continue.Ā
Always put that on your mind. I am always here to support La Culinaria Pirata. ā„
1st Job Experience!
October 10, 2019, | 7:35PM
#Unemployed HAHA
I worked at Cassalu Coffe & Kitchen - Pastry Commissary under RNL Food Concepts Inc. RNL was owned by the young entrepreneurs, Loren and Noel Andres. They started their business last 2016. Yes! Itās new!! Why did I choose to work here? Because of the Job title, I guess?? But the real thing that I consider the most is the location of the workplace which the commissary was located at Las PiƱas only. I am just an hour away from my house!
I started on May 6, 2019, until October 10, 2019 :( I resigned not because Iām having problems in my workplace but because Iām facing new and exciting opportunities that may help me in the future. (Iāll share it with you guys very soon!)Ā
I was under the Commissary Department - Pastry Kitchen. Weāre making cakes, specifically, cheesecakes! There are more than 24 flavors of cheesecake and the price will range 950 - 1500 pesos. I would say that the products were very delicious and worth it with the price range. I am also doing Cake projects as if there are birthdays, bulk orders, and alike. Iām just happy doing cake projects because I can apply what Iāve learned at school which enhances my skills in decorating cakes.
The most important thing that you need to learn when you got your first job, is to learn to make decisions. To stand with it and be confident about the things that you are doing. Learn to be resourceful and learn to know your worth as an employee. Donāt let your bosses make you a little piece of shit because they pay you.
My stay with RNL Food Concepts was very challenging. In terms of salary, they really pay us the right amount that we deserve. Overtimes are paid. (Walang OT Thank you) But.... the salary is always delayed. I hate when thereās a super sudden bulk order which will end to super-duper over time and will lead us to over fatigue :(Ā
Anyway, the people there are very accommodating and kind. The memory of my first job was happy. Thank you, RNL Food Concepts Inc. for trusting ā„ See you all soon! ā„
87 is the new 75
87 is the new 75.
And I, thank you.

Safety Of Life at Sea (SOLAS)
Date of Training: May 28 - June 9, 2018 Location: Global Maritime Training Center, Valenzuela City, Metro Manila (1 day) and LPU Maritime Training Center, Batangas City, Batangas (12 days)
TheĀ International Convention for the Safety of Life at SeaĀ
SOLAS is an internationalĀ maritime treatyĀ which sets minimum safety standards in the construction, equipment, and operation ofĀ merchant ships. The convention requires signatoryĀ flag statesĀ to ensure that ships flagged by them comply with at least these standards.
SOLAS is a convention and contains training that can be used as our basic knowledge in safety at Sea. Basic Safety Training is included. Basic Safety Training or BST is required before you can land a job as a seafarer. Without this training, you are not allowed to sign a contract for a job in a vessel. Basic Safety Training or BST is the starting point for persons seeking employment in the maritime industry. This training is intended to ensure that seafarers are aware of the hazards of working on a vessel and can respond appropriately in an emergency.
During the Basic Training, we got 4 modules including Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF), Personal Survival Techniques (PST), Elementary First Aid (EFA) and Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR). We also got 3 additional IMO Model Courses: International Safety Management (ISM code), Ship Security Awareness Training and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (SSAT-SDSD) and Crowd Management.
After completing this training, we are now able to process and apply for Seafarerās Identification and Record Book or Seamanās Book (SIRB) at nearest MARINA branches nationwide.
As a Cruise Line Operations in Culinary Arts student, itās indeed appreciated by having a training like this. Itās not just about how to prevent accidents but also to learn the basic safety of a vessel especially in a Passenger Ship like in Cruise Line Industry. Starting from using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), helping passengers in case of emergency, when there is a disaster and also as an awareness of every student.
This training will help us to be competent and well trained in our near future. It will give us preparation in the near challenging career in the global shipping and cruising industry. To become a world-class and highly competent seafarer.
The whole training costs 15000 pesos inclusive of the ff: Transportation (LPU Cavite - Valenzuela - Batangas - LPU Cavite) Accommodation for 13 days (Dormitory Type) Food (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for 13 days) Insurance and If you want to apply for SIRB, additional of 1000 pesos. LMTC will coordinate to MARINA for processing your SIRB.
Make a glitter-filled bag of rainbows and be fantasize with Unicorns! A very magical day is on the way! Come and Dine with us on April 20, 2018 - Friday at LPU Cavite - Le Cafe, 9:30AM or 10:30AM. Reserve your slots now. Open to Outsiders. Thank you! š¦šāØ
