The Enlightened Scorpio

I met Chance in Venice in 2011 when I went to a Parker Ainsworth show at the WitzEnd on Lincoln Blvd.  He was quiet and yet I could tell that there was something deep in his soul that ached to get out.  Very quickly I learned that when attending the People’s Mic for the Occupy Venice Movement.  His poetry spoke of hope, questioned the world around us, and gave a look into his wild life.  Soon after I had the pleasure of meeting his beautiful and vivacious wife, Marianna.  I was in love with the delicate passion these two gave back to the world through their love.  A year later, we took to the side roads in Venice Beach to photograph Chance’s headshot for a magazine feature and I begged them to allow me to capture on film the love I saw in front of me.  Here is an image from their shoot.  Keep checking back for more images because there is no doubt in my mind that I will keep sharing their love with the world.

When I lived in Tahoe I adopted a puppy from the local shelter.  I wanted to help save a life and at the same time I was so depressed that I needed a companion to be by my side through the dark time.  Indi was this for me.  He gave me hope and happiness.  We went on walks every day.  After I made the choice to go off the grid and live in a travel trailer on a ganja farm I realized that I would not be able to keep him with me.  I took the time to find a perfect home for him... my neighbor’s daughter has a family of 4 and a large amount of land.  He already knew and loved her family.  It was just right... the moment was perfect and I rehomed my little man to Sue’s family.  She updates me all the time with photos and his adventures. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to be a part of his life... even if it was for a short period of time. 

While in the Oak Run area I had the displeasure of seeing a poorly lumbered lot of land.  This is an example of the devastation I want to bring to light with my #unfucktheworld project.  I plan on traveling the world to document tragedies such as this and to contrast the beauty of women with the what we as humans have done to our Mother Earth.  Help spread the word with the hashtag #unfucktheworld on any inspirational posts you see.  

Before leaving Tahoe I had the pleasure of shooting with this cute couple.  It was magical.  I look forward to watching their love bloom and to see where their love takes them.  

Last month I had the pleasure of working with The Makes.  They are a LA based band that has just released their newest songs.  First seen on America’s Got Talent, The Makes are an incredible band that will only move on and up in this beautiful world.  Get ready to rock and roll with them.
