It’s very strange to me that people are relating Marchand licking people to homophobia. It’s not homophobic that he licks people, it’s just very weird (and he shouldn’t be doing it tbh no one wants a random guy’s tongue shoved into their face when they’re trying to do their job) i don’t think he’s trying to weaponize homophobia by making guys “grossed out by the gayness” I think he’s just… relying on them being grossed out by a Random Man Licking Them and recoiling. It’s also not homophobic that guys recoil when he licks them, like who wouldn’t recoil at being licked without warning? And it’s certainly not homophobic of the league to tell him to stop licking people who don’t want to be licked y'know?

On TSN's "The Reporters" segment on the Penguins visiting the WH, they rightfully excoriated the Penguins, the NHL, and Crosby for their bad choices this past week. They also revealed a small nugget -- that Crosby is not a Trump supporter (but Kessel is/was). It's a comment on the sad state of affairs when I am able to find some comfort in that throwaway kernel of hearsay.
