Living the dream.

This past few nights had been really great. Us, sleeping together, our arms were wrapped around each other’s body, it felt like an early stage of relationship wherein we are still in a honeymoon stage. It felt like there is no other people on earth, it was just us. So peaceful, so quiet. A night full of kisses, making love like there is no tomorrow. It felt like there is no problem i cannot conquer because i have you, i had you. But it’s not real, wasn’t it? Because as I open my eyes in the morning, looking at the most beautiful person I have ever saw, I know that deep inside you are not mine anymore. Because as I wave my hands goodbye when you drove off the house, I know that I had to wait hours and hours until I can talk to you again, until I hear your voice again, until I can feel your arms around me again. If i can just stop the time at night when we are together, cuddling, i would. Because with you i feel safe. With you i am home. You are my home. You were my home. Someone told me that if you love someone you should let them go and set them free. To be honest, i don’t want to do that, i don’t want to give up, i want to still try and do the very best that i can so maybe you will realize that our relationship still deserves another chance. But it’s just me, right? So maybe I just really need to start to accept that maybe we are meant to fall in love but not meant to be together. But You will always be my favorite hello and my hardest goodbye.
