I hadn't listened to the 1975 in quite some time and I stopped using this blog a while ago, but today i was feeling emotionally and physically exhausted and i decided to return to the comfort of the 1975′s soft tunes only to learn they had released their new album. I felt so emotionally moved not only by hearing the voice that had gotten me through the winter at 15 and flooded my car for the years following, but also hearing the growth in the new words reflecting on deep sadness and provoking hopes for the future anyway. Returning to this tumblr to dive back into others’ love for the 1975 I realized it was almost exactly 5 years ago that i made this account! I was aware of the challenges and growth Ive experienced since i was 15, but I failed to recognize the 1975 were growing with me this whole time. I love seeing how much they've affected others and how passionate you all are in sharing your love for them. The 1975′s music resonates with me now as much as ever.
