Hello! Begin Again

This is Rein Fortich, the creator and author of this Tumblr page. It started with the name - The Creative Mutt, created as an outlet of all things creative in 2014. The same time my brother bought my camera. Since then, it has been all about the people I have met, photographs of the journeys I made with them. Edits based on moods, personas of people I shoot with and more. 

Honestly the name and the purpose of the blog hasn’t serve its purpose, I created it as an outlet of me being creative, but it was so unfortunate that I have failed in that part, in doing more, and documenting my progress as an artist, but don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed every bit of this blog, the experience and the people are all awesome. Now I have decided to take away the name and replace it with - The People Mutt and dedicate all these space to all the beautiful people that I have and will photographed. XO

A Little of that Summer

I am quite of an excited human being this summer, except of course, the heat that it brings to the table. Nowadays summer is a killer, literally. It is so freaking hot!

Anyway we’re hotter than summer. LOL.

Creative Mutt | Hello

Hi! This is Rein Fortich the one who created this Tumblr. It has been years of me, photographing all my life’s adventure. Sharing photosets after photosets. I never really had a good introduction about this blog of mine, (since I am such a failure at intros) or photoblog to be specific. 

I am always at Tumblr if not, then you’ll find me in Pinterest and now I do enjoy Instagram-ming. With that said, I obviously enjoy photography. My love for photography has evolve through the years, I must say. From a person who enjoys looking at good photos, stalking bodies of work from good photographers. Now, I do aspire to become one of them, to be able to produce good photos that people will enjoy too. Hopefully. Wish me luck. :)

Now, for my 201st post. I am carrying still, the eagerness in me when I started this blog thing. I know, I still have lots of work to do, lots! But I am willing to take all the risk and pull all the stops to be great at it. While I am under-construction, please, enjoy what this little mutt who’s trying to be creative in many forms & ways can do.

Cookbook Diary | Volume 1 : Kimchi & Tofu

I want to make a recipe instruction post, but I ultimately failed. Sorry. Hahaha I got excited eating it, as soon as it finished cooking. Anyway my mom liked it, knowing my mom’s intricate taste buds (she told me, she loved the tofu. “Masarap yung tokwa, kasi sumipsip, yung anghang.”) and also, most importantly, she is a good cook. My brother used to tell me, that mom owns a canteen before. So having her slight approval is a YEY-DAY for me.

To Jessa. OMG! This is so surreal umuwi ka for ALDUB! Waaaaaah! #Leveling bff! Glad you’ve said “Nag enjoy ako, sobra! (Insert tears here and here while you were looking at the screen monitor, drooling over Alden and Yayadub.)” Bff I had fun too! I drooled too. Thanks for the treat!

Her new permanent residence made her miss the taste of home. The taste of Filipino cuisine. I only wish we could have more time and a bigger tummy, so for that we can fill all your cravings. Well we never run out of next times I guess. See you in four months bff and Bert.
