Air Jordan Retro Summer 2014 Release
Today, we get a look at some upcoming Air Jordan Retro releases, set to come out in Summer 2014. New colorways are starting to surface, such as the Air Jordan 14 “Silver” and the Air Jordan 3 in “Sport Blue” and “Wolf Grey” colorways. Some OG colorways will also be making their returns, such as the Air Jordan 1 KO High OG “Sport Blue”, a canvas version of the Air Jordan 1. The Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” and Air Jordan 14 “Black Toe” will make comebacks as well. Sport Blue appears to be a prominent colorway in 2014, much like the new Gamma Bluewas this year.
Air Jordan 1 KO High OG Color: Black/Black-Sport Blue Style Code: 638471-007
Air Jordan 3 Retro Color: Black/Sport Blue-Wolf Grey Style Code: 136064-007
Air Jordan 3 Retro Color: Wolf Grey/Metallic Silver-Black-White Style Code: 136064-004
Air Jordan 6 Retro Color: White/Sport Blue-Black Style Code: 384664-107
AIR JORDAN 6 INFRARED 2014
it’s the 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan 6 in 2014, and for the signature shoe of the man that made that number famous, the milestone is kinda a big deal. It means we’re probably gonna see a lot of special releases of the 6 dropping, like we have with the 5 this year, but there’s gonna be few drops that will be hotter than this one. The OG white/infrared colourway is coming back, flying solo after showing up with a friend in 2010, and we’re pretty confident they’ll be disappearing out the door as soon as they arrive in-store. These will hit retail on February 15 next year, but if you’ve got cheddar and a size 9.5 foot you can get the hook up at Solefood NY now.
NIKE WMNS DISCO BALL QS PACK
Time to polish off the weekly grind, get juiced up, don your disco shoes and hit the d floor. Oh, you don’t have any electric boogooloo boots? Never fear, Nike have got the situation for the ladies on lock lock with this tight Disco Ball Quickstrike pack. Comprising an Air Max 1, Dunk Sky Hi and Blazer Mid, all three models in the pack come slapped up with a myriad of metallic silver windows framed up by an ice blue underlay. Get amongst these from next Thursday, December 12th at select Nike Quicksrike accounts including Hype DC.
NIKE KOBE 2 (PRELUDE)
Nike is taking the launch of the Kobe 9 as an opportunity to reflect on the Black Mamba’s explosive career since signing with the Swoosh just under a decade ago. They’re bringing out all eight preceding models in order each week in new colourways as a special ‘Prelude’ to the new silhouette’s release. After the Kobe 1 of last week, we get to see an all-new Kobe 2 here. The upper is clad in a marbled rock colourway with gold accenting, chosen because this is the shoe that Kobe was wearing when Kobe truly began carving his name in B-Ball history. The Kobe 1 was an ode to the player’s 81-point game and this sneak’s significant moment is the four straight games Kobe nailed 50+ points in, becoming only the second man after Wilt Chamberlain to have such a streak. A graphic representing that treatment sits on the insole. Each shoe will be available in limited quantities on Nike.com (North America, Greater China and Western Europe) and at select retailers in North America and Greater China.

NIKE LEBRON 11 (ORANGE/BLUE)
The Nike LeBron 11 continues to sell its laces off in stores even though LBJ himself isn’t wearing them on court consistently. There’s murmurings that a redesign of the silhouette is coming for King James and will flow on to his disciples, but we hope we still see this model continue to ride the colour spectrum with new releases because it’s a real stunner. There’s a little bit of debate over what this colourway is all about, Marquee Sole, who are selling this beast early, have dubbed it the ‘New York Knicks’, while EU Kicks are claiming it as a retro Cleveland Cavaliers rendition because of this‘Hardwood Classic’ LeBron X Low. Clever sleuthing, EU, but we’re gonna sit on the courtside fence and just call it ‘orange and blue’, because that’s what we’re seeing – plus, LeBron repped the Cavs in the modern uniform that didn’t look much like this, and he doesn’t have a real connection to the Knickerbockers other than being really desired by them. Furthermore, Nike has never been really rigorous with sneaker storytelling when it comes to the LeBron compared to the KD VI and the ‘muses’ that will inspire Kobe 9 colourways – the design team seem happy to belt out combos that just look good and have no rhyme or reason behind them. That’s where this bright and bold number probably falls, and it’s available in a couple of sizes for big dollars at MS now. We’ll let you know when it gets a wider drop.
NIKE LEBRON 11 (CHRISTMAS PACK)
Locked and loaded and ready for smooching under the mistletoe, the LeBron 11 comes up looking minty fresh in a special colourway for Christmas. It ain’t about to start snowing where LBJ lays his head to rest (Miami), but the Swoosh still makes this 11 a frosty flip, with mint green all over and festive red Swooshes and lacing breaking it up and adding to the fun. There’s a dainty snowflake print splattered in the panelling too. The Christmas colourways of the LeBron 11, Kobe 8 System and KD VIwill arrive in limited quantities at select retail stores and Nike.com on December 26, 2013.
ADIDAS CRAZY 8 (NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS)
Ensuring those last few nights before Christmas are sleepless ones, adidas drop in this Crazy 8' Nightmare Before Christmas’ colourway. It’s kinda tough to tell from these pictures, but there’s some serious ornate detail at play here on the upper, there’s a splotchy black and white midsole recalling the colours of that curious creature from Tim Burton’s classic film, a shimmering purple upper set in a gorgeous pattern, and it’s all smacked on a glow-in-the-dark rubber midsole to act as a nightlight for the scared lil’ kiddies. You can grab this on December 20 from retailers including Oneness.
RONNIE FIEG x NEW BALANCE 577 (AMERICANA)
It was only yesterday that we presented you this cheeky teaser of the Ronnie Fieg for New Balance 577 ‘Americana’ – before the alarm bells could ring though, these bad boys have already hit the streets. Filled out in a flavoursome filling of pigskin across the upper, highlights arrive in the form of 3M hits, nautical-inspired lacing and a popping speckled outsole soaring out the rear. As with anything that carries the RF moniker, don’t expect these to hang around long, kiddies, grab that plastic and hustle over to Kith NYC now while stocks last.
AIR JORDAN 11 (GAMMA BLUE) After making do with some scrappy preview flicks, today we bring you a detailed look at the upcoming Air Jordan 11 ‘Gamma Blue’ retro release. A truly revered court silhouette, like butter on bread, black captivates the majority of the upper which comes hewn from a mix of patent leather, premium leather and heavy mesh, while hits of gamma blue jump off the upper and continue into the icy clear outsole. Golden details are a fitting finish for this kingly package, which will be available later this month on December 21st from retailers.

AIR JORDAN 12 (TAXI) A fan favourite, the Air Jordan 12 ‘Taxi’ is slated for a comeback later this month. Originally releasing in 1997 on the brink of His Airness’ second retirement, the Air Jordan 12 Taxi features a black and white tumbled leather upper, plus subtle hits of varsity red and gold accenting making these joints 24 karats of straight fire. The ‘Taxi’ name refers to the black and yellow midfoot shank which steals some shine on the sole. Get set to cop this classic from December 14 at select Jordan retailers globally.
NIKE ROSHE RUN MID SNEAKERBOOT (2014 PREVIEW) The Nike SneakerBoot story will extend into the Spring 2014 range with three new colourways of the quilted Roshe Run Mid set to release in January. The triple pack will comprise a game royal blue edition contrasted with atomic orange accents, a light iron ore number with hot red igniting the heels and a grey/blue/volt Roshe that we can safely call the safest colourway of the bunch.
NIKE AIR MAX 95 NO-SEW 2014 PREVIEW We’re starting to see a gang of spring 2014 Nike silhouettes hitting the webs this week, and it’s become apparent that the big 2013 Air Max belated 25 year anniversary push is going to spill over into the new year. Here we have two super tidy cool grey colourways of the Air Max 95 No-Sew that are set to release in optional ocean blue and mango orange editions. Expect to see these hitting retailers globally in January.
FOX BROS. x NIKE TIER ZERO FALL 2013 COLLECTION Capitalising on nearly 250 years of production experience in woolen and worsted fabric, the official original creators of flannel, the Fox Bros. of England, alongside Nike deliver the Tier Zero 2013 Fall Collection. Made up of a Dunk Hi, Air Magma and NSW Destroyer Jacket, all three pieces come expertly wrapped in iconic Fox Bros. wool fabric, and detailed with premium tan leather accents throughout. Launching at a slew of retailers worldwide December 7, look to grab your favourite pieces from Hanon in the coming days.
NIKE ACG x POLER QS PACK (OZ HYPE DC EXCLUSIVE) Comprising a vivid sulfur/atomic red Trainerendor low, a dark obsidian/electric orange/khaki premium suede Trainerendor mid and a black spruce Dunk High OMS edition, all three silhouettes in the pack come infused with Nike’s ACG (All Conditions Gear) DNA spliced with Poler’s core camping roots vibe. The super savvy colourways in the ACG range have always been a big drawcard, but teamed up with that tough outdoors look and the line really ends up standing in a style league of its own. All three models are available now at Hype DC.

LONDON UNDERGROUND x NIKE AIR MAX COLLECTION Train seat patterns have mystified man since the dawn of locomotive travel. Public transport companies have a habit of going buck wild with their upholstery, usually installing some sort of kaleidoscopic magic eye pattern that you would definitely stick your forehead on and walk backwards if it wasn’t so dirty. London’s Underground ‘tube’ is fond of this aesthetic too, and Nike are belatedly tipping their hats to their seat designs from the 80s with a new Jacquard Air Max 90 and Air Max 1 double pack. The result is a trippy red, black, brown and yellow print inspired by this seat pattern – the Jacquard weave really works for a colour combo like this. We think Nike even hollered at the London Underground for these too, the ‘Roundel’ logo sits pretty on the tongue tag. The London Underground x Nike Air Max collection debuts December 14 at select retailers.
Just ordered the reasonable donut print from @gleninfante @ilthy can't wait 👍😁📦🎨
