$20 Character Portraits in Daz

//Hey all! Hope everyone is doing well.

Over the past year, I’ve been working on building my skills in Daz 3D, and I’m at the place where I feel comfortable offering certain types of commissions, within a set of limits (which I detail in the site linked above).

These past few months have been quite lean financially, so I thought I’d kickstart my Daz commission work by holding a sale event. So for one week, I’m holding a $20 Character Portrait Event.

If you want a character portrait, please go to the page and read through everything carefully before sending a request. There are some limits to what I can do with this software.

Also, please use the contact form on the main site to send any commission requests; don’t send them here.

I am taking a limited number of commissions at a time, but as of right now all slots are open.

//I... procrastinated today. I meant to hit the drawing in the morning, never did. I finally sat down to do it tonight, and... yeah. I accidentally broke my Wacom pen the other day. I thought I’d fixed it but the pressure sensitivity was still not working. And the tablet’s an old model, so buying a new pen for it is out of the question.

I do have a backup tablet, an XP-Pen, and it is tiny. Like a little bigger than a post card. I installed it and played with it a bit tonight, and it seems to work okay. It’s just... very, very small. But I suppose it’ll do the trick until I can get a new full-sized tablet.

Setting strong intentions RIGHT NOW that I will actually sit down and Art tomorrow, and not procrastinate all day again.

#i mean #i guess it's good that i'm fighting the lethargy and lack of motivation #it's just... really hard to do things sometimes #seems harder than usual lately #i do plan on getting a new full-sized Wacom or a comparable brand as soon as I can afford it #just kinda tight right now #ooc

//Our latest attempt to sell the house (to a potential investor) fell through, and the property we had reserved awhile back is going back on the market. So that’s a thing that is happening.

It looks like we may be here for awhile after all. To be quite honest, I think we need to sink a little money into house repairs before we can consider selling. It’s literally falling down around our ears. Nobody wants a risky investment like that.

Hard to say what’s going to be happening in the coming months. I’m going to unpack some of my essentials and try to get back to doing things again. I’ve been in a weird state of paralysis lately, and I need to pull myself out of that.

So. Maybe expect art and writing in the coming weeks. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.
