Theories Surrounding Elisa's Death
Before I get into my trip to the Cecil Hotel and the information I gathered, I want to discuss some of the different theories surrounding this case.
I want to be clear about one thing: I do not know what happened to Elisa Lam, nor do I have any preconceived conclusions. I am approaching this investigation seriously, and I intend to examine the case from the very beginning through research. I will do my best to avoid making assumptions and instead focus on the available evidence.
The official explanation for her death has left many people unconvinced. There are countless theories surrounding her death.
I plan to examine each one carefully, starting from the beginning and paying close attention to every detail. My goal is to cover as much information as possible, identify inconsistencies where they exist, and avoid overlooking anything important. As a result, this investigation will likely take a considerable amount of time, possibly even years.
With that said, let's take a look at some of the most widely discussed theories.
ā ļø Please let me know in the comments what your theories are, or if you believe the final conclusion reached by the authorities and investigators who covered the case.
Accidental Death
The official conclusion. Authorities determined that Elisa Lam accidentally drowned in a rooftop water tank while experiencing symptoms related to her bipolar disorder.
Suicide
Some people have suggested she intentionally entered the water tank to end her life.
Murder
One of the most common theories. Supporters argue someone may have followed Elisa, harmed her, and placed her in the tank to conceal the crime.
The Tuberculosis Test
One of the strangest theories. People noticed similarities between Elisa's name and a tuberculosis test known as "LAM-ELISA." Because there was a tuberculosis outbreak in the area around that time, some speculated about an experiment.
Paranormal
The belief that a ghost, demonic entity, curse, or other supernatural force played a role in her behavior and death.
š Iām not even going to give my opinion on which theories I believe to be true, or most likely true, because I just donāt know. I definitely do not trust the investigation, which is why I will be conducting my own.
āāāā Please leave a comment if you have any interesting theories on this case.
