Remus poked at the eggs Sirius had made him for breakfast. They seemed rather suspect to him, but as a dutiful boyfriend, he took a bite. As he bit down into what should’ve been soft, fluffy scrambled eggs, something crunched between his teeth. He tried not to grimace as he continued to chew his shell-filled eggs, but then the heat hit. 

“Fuck!” He gasped as he spat them out. “Fuck, Sirius, how much hot sauce did you use?”

“Erm, just a splash,” Sirius said, worry creasing his face. Remus inspected the bottle, and there was a decent amount missing. “It can’t be that bad,” Sirius said, taking a bite. He pulled a face when he crunched the eggshells, and his eyes grew wide when the hot sauce hit. Sirius picked up the plate and scraped the contents into the bin. “New rule, from now on, you do the cooking.”

“Deal,” Remus chuckled and pulled Sirius in for a kiss. “Café down the street?”
