This would be the strictest such law in the US, outlawing abortion entirely, if the governor approves it.
Alabama is making great strides for the Pro-Life movement with the House Bill 314 - “Human Life Protection Act.” It’s all up to Governor Kay Ivey now to sign it to make it become law. Even if you are not an Alabama citizen, you can still message her to express your desire for her support of this bill, which could be such a victory for the Pro-Life movement and a standard for other states’s laws to be set against.

I’d go from “Doubting Thomas” to “Shouting Thomas” pretty quick.
New York just legalized late term abortion in the situation that the mother's health is at risk. So many people and places want abortion to be legal for even more reasons, more widely available for anyone.
Too many of us today are afraid to look evil in the eye and call it what it is. We refuse to stand up for truth, for goodness. There is corruption and evil everywhere, but the right to life issue is huge - without this right you can't even talk about any other issue. None.
We should not get to pick and choose who gets to live and die based on their contribution to society or the level of care that they need. People with special needs, the elderly, people with mental and physical disabilities, criminals, the unborn, children outside of the womb, women, men, any race of person, etc. All of us deserve to live.
We have come so far in history and our fight for who is considered a human being. A person. Who has the right to live. So many groups of people have been able to gain personhood over the course of history. We should not and cannot backtrack. People are people. We should not be dehumanizing groups of people again.
Our world is changing before our eyes, and not for the better. We have let both women and children down.
The womb should be one of the most sacred and safest places in the world, yet today - and especially now in New York, it is one of the most dangerous.

No matter your belief system, if you believe in prayer, please pray for all children, both inside and outside of the womb. Please pray especially for mothers to choose life for their child, and for all children who are in danger of abortion.

Sometimes I'm very worked up emotionally about one thing or another, and it doesn't feel like I can do anything about it. In those times, even if I don't always feel like it in the moment, I try to turn to prayer. A quick divine mercy chaplet calms me downs and reminds me of what is important - God and my relationship to my faith. We are all human, and we will all fall sometimes. We should still strive to be holy and keep our love and our God at the forefront of everything we do.

I’ve been having an issue that being an introvert is really not helping out. So, being a Catholic, I googled “patron saint of introverts”. Sadly, I couldn’t find a specific one (I mean, come on, we’ve got patron saints for everything. There’s got to be one for introverts), but I did find a list of saints who were introverts. And I’ve found one who’s already really helped me out with my problem, and who I think a lot of us here on Tumblr could benefit from: St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi.
She was a Carmelite and a mystic, but she actually is very relatable to a lot of us.
1) She was an introvert. All she wanted was to live a quiet life, but being a mystic, she didn’t get to. No doubt she can be a big help to introverts who get pushed to “come out of their shell”.
2) She was super depressed for a long time. Super depressed. Like as in she contemplated suicide. Then one Pentecost, she was suddenly cured. Part of my problem that I was dealing with did have to do with depression, and that hasn’t bothered me since I asked her for help on it.
3) A novice asked her one time for permission to be impatient so that the other nuns wouldn’t think so highly of her. St. Mary Magdalen was just like, “Don’t worry about that. Nobody thinks as highly of you as you think they do.” Enough said.
So anyway, here’s a saint whom I’d never heard of before and who might be able to help you!
