The Catcher in the Mistakes

Have you ever seen a spelling or grammar mistake so friggin’ obvious that your eyes just wanted to explode from pain? I bet you have. We all have. And though I’m not an English native speaker, and I’m aware of my own imperfection when writing, sometimes I just can’t ignore these errors. And I don’t mean something like putting you’re instead of your (or the other way around), to instead of too, etc. They’re, though annoying, a part of everyday life. You can spot them everywhere on social media. Probably even your friends make these mistakes while texting you! What I want to talk about here, is how people can look at what they wrote and not be “what the hell have I just written?!”

THAT’S what I’m gonna share on this blog.

Hey people, what’s up? I’m back and I have some new hilarious mistakes for you! Let’s start with something that I can imagine could be spotted at Walmart. Because I don’t think any other supermarket could be so dumb to actually have this on one of their shelves in the fruit alley. 

ORGASMIC BLUEBERRIES

Yes, you’ve read that correctly! Orgasmic blueberries! What the hell?! Are they supposed…

Now, that’s a gem! A road sign, painted in the friggin’ of this road saying SHCOOL. First of all, what the shcool even is?! And secondly, isn’t it on some bus driveway at school, or something? If the principal allowed for that, I’m really concerned about the quality of education at this particular place. 

I can find only two excuses for this.

ONE: the person painting the sign was drunk;

TWO: it’s just a joke.

Any other option would be really disturbing.

“The art of writting" 

What the friggin’ hell is that?! How could you NOT see this mistake?! Bah! How could you even force your hand to put it down that way, bonehead?! And isn’t this box in some bookstore or a library? Shouldn’t people who arrange the shelves there know how to spell correctly?! What this person was doing in there, what, first or second grade?! Were they sleeping at all classes or something? I understand people writing travelling and traveling because that’s one the differences between British and American English, but there’s no friggin’ dialect of English that would spell “writting”, for goodness sake! And where are other workers? Or are they just the same ignorant as the author of this label on the box? Often I wonder where this world is actually going…

HIRING SMILING FACES FOR AFTERNOON SHITS

What in the world?! What, are ya lookin’ for someone to poo whole afternoon and smile while doing so?! Seriously?? Did you, by any chance, mean afternoon SHIFTS?! Because as far as I am concerned you rather have shifts at work than take a poo for like a few hours in a row. I don’t think your boss would be happy if you’d come to work with diarrhea, and instead of serving burgers, you’d be sitting on the friggin’ toilet all the time!
