Hi Richtor! Can you please put links to sites or post to gems (quartz, crystals, stones),essential oils, and herbs's meanings? Please i need them but I want trustworthy info!😆 have a good day!
Remember to always fact check your sources - compare them to two or three others, and information that repeats can be assumed to be “correct.” Remember, also, that personal correspondences are very important. Go with what feels right to you.

The Elements and their correspondences
E A R T H
Earth represents strength, grounding, prosperity, the material, wealth, success, foundations, death and rebirth. Focus on this element if the goal of your spell is about fertility, prosperity, business or stability. Earth spells may take longer to work, but they’re also more firm and are good if you’re looking for long-term solutions.
GENDER: Feminine SEASON: Winter DIRECTION: North HOUR: Night
COLOURS: Green, Brown, Black ANIMALS: Bears, Deers, Wolves, Badgers HERBS/PLANTS: Ivy, Ash, Vetiver, Wheats, Oats INSTRUMENTS: Drums (Percussion instruments)
STAR SIGNS: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn STONES/GEMS: Jade, Onyx, Emerald, Salt RITUAL TOOLS: Stones, Dirt, Bones, Pentacle, Salt, Crystals RITUAL FORMS: Burying, Planting, Imprinting to soil or sand TAROT SUIT: Pentacles
A I R
Air represents intellect and the mind, wisdom, knowledge; logic as well as abstract thought, intuition and higher consciousness. If you’re seeking freedom, travels, or to enhance your memory and focus - focus on Air spells! Air is whimsical and amiable, personally I haven’t found it useful for more serious spells, but it does wonders for my studies.
GENDER: Masculine SEASON: Spring DIRECTION: East HOUR: Dawn
COLOURS: Yellow, White, Sky Blue, Pastels ANIMALS: Birds, Spiders, Butterflies HERBS/PLANTS: Lavender, Birch, Vervain, Dill, Aspen INSTRUMENTS: Flute (Wind instruments)
STAR SIGNS: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius STONES/GEMS: Amethyst, Opal, Alexandrite, Beryl RITUAL TOOLS: Incense, Wand RITUAL FORMS: Fanning, Tossing into air, Suspending in a high place TAROT SUIT: Swords
F I R E
Fire represents energy, passion, purification, love, inspiration, desire, will, courage, power, leadership, sexuality. In spellcraft, focusing on Fire is good for purification, healing and love spells; it’s the best element for quick, strong spells. Although, Fire is fierce in essence, and Fire spells are susceptible - they should be well thought out.
GENDER: Masculine SEASON: Summer DIRECTION: South HOUR: Noon
COLOURS: Red, Orange, Gold ANIMALS: Snakes, Lions, Horses HERBS/PLANTS: Cacti, Cinnamon, Pepper, Basil INSTRUMENTS: Guitar (Stringed instruments)
STAR SIGNS: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius STONES/GEMS: Amber, Citrine, Ruby, Tiger’s Eye RITUAL TOOLS: Athame, Candles RITUAL FORMS: Burning, Smouldering, Heating TAROT SUIT: Wands
W A T E R
Water represents purification as well; though it’s focused more on the soul and the subconscious rather than the physical, material world. Water stands for emotion, intuition, wisdom, eternal movement, reflection, lunar energy. Focusing on the Water element is good for psychic abilities, getting in tune with your inner self, mysteries, friendships, love, dreams and sleep.
GENDER: Feminine SEASON: Autumn DIRECTION: West HOUR: Dusk
COLOURS: Blue, Indigo, Silver ANIMALS: Otters, Fish, Sea Mammals, Frogs HERBS/PLANTS: Lotus, Water Lilies, Aloe, Gardenia INSTRUMENTS: Cymbal, Bell (Resonant instruments)

crystals and herbs to help reduce stress and encourage success! 🌿✨
crystals used:
- citrine (success, enthusiasm, happiness)
- tiger’s eye (insight, balance, courage)
- bloodstone (mental clarity, creativity, motivation)
herbs used:
- lavender (reduces stress)
- camomile (reduces stress)
- rose (aids self confidence)
this is perfect for anyone (like me) who is struggling to cope with exam season. however, it goes without saying but:
1. don’t rely primarily on magic to get you through your exams! it may help with some of the stresses that come with it but you still need to put the work in the get the results you want.
2. though herbs and crystals can help with stress and anxiety, if yours is severe then make sure you seek professional help. this is not a replacement for medication/therapy.
good luck!
🔮 little witchy things to do 🔮
there’s not always time to do hour-long full-out rituals and spells, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do little witchy things in your day-to-day life!
- sleep with your curtains open to naturally wake yourself up with the dawn, and appreciate the new day
- do yoga (i like sun salutation yoga in the mornings)
- use a body wash that matches your intent for the day (eg. lavender if you shower at night, rose if you want to boost your love life etc.)
- sprinkle a watered down lavender spray on your blankets/pillows at night for relaxation and rest
- meditate
- you can find some very simple quick spells to do
- immerse yourself in nature
- moonbathe
- sunbathe
- listen to witchy music
- tidy (physically) and cleanse (energy) your room/house
- light candles
- make a few sigils (put school sigils on your schoolbooks, self-confidence sigils on your hairbrush … )
- have some you time
- add to your book of shadows/grimoire
- even just flick through/read your book of shadows/grimoire
- if you’re on the bus, or waiting for someone or have a free moment, take a minute to ground yourself. concentrate on feeling the connection between you and your seat, your feet and the floor.
just remember that simply doing these does not make you any less of a witch.
you’re an important, busy person!

A witches dictionary
Ever hear some things? Not sure what they mean? Check out this mini witches dictionary with a few of the most basic witchcraft terminology!
Altar: a place to do and practise Magickal things like spells and rituals or meditation. Also used for inspiration and honouring the deceased
Astral projection: projecting your spirit out of your body in order to be somewhere else. Often done by dreaming, can be very dangerous *only to be practiced by experienced witches
Athame: a Magickal tool/object in the shape of a knife or sword, not used for real harm, only symbolic
Balefire: a fire that has been lit/made for Magickal purposes like spells, rituals etc.
Besom: a witches broom used to banish negativity and negative energy
Book of shadows: also known as a grimoire that contains spells, rituals and anything else that is important to the witch who owns it
Call: a term used that means the same as invoking
Cauldron: represents the goddess when doing spells and rituals and is often filled with water or flowers
Cleansing: removing negative energy from yourself, others or spaces you are in
Coven: a group of at least 3 witches who get together and practise spells and rituals and celebrate sabbats or Esbats together

Pentacle: a five pointed star representing the elements and is enclosed in a circle and is a symbol for protection on witches and Wiccans that is used a lot

Runes: ancient symbols from an ancient Nordic alphabet often used in witchcraft
Sabbat: 8 festivals in the wicca/pagan/witchcraft community that happen every year and are a time for celebration and honouring
Scry: look deeply/gaze into an object in order to see a Magickal effect, when being used it is called “scrying”
Sigil: a magick symbol placed on an object as a seal and needs to be charged in order for the power to manifest
Samhain: probably the bigger sabbat celebration in the calendar marking the pagan/witchcraft and wicca community’s new year. The best time for divination work and contacting the deceased as the vein is very thin that night between the spirit world and the human world, so it is also appreciated to celebrate the dead on this night, also know as “Halloween” and is celebrated on the 31st of October - 2nd of November
Please add on more :) 🖤
Incorporating witchcraft/witchy things into your everyday life
I always get asked tones of questions on how to incorporate witchcraft into your daily routine so here are some ways that you could possibly do so
The tips:
- when you wake up you could burn incense or sage around your house and yourself to cleanse everything for a brand new day
- when drinking drinks like tea or coffee you can use the spoon to mix in a clockwise direction to increase something or anti clockwise to decrease something
- you can also draw a sigil in the bottom of your cup with honey and then add you drink on top
- when baking things with crust you can carve sigils into it to make your food more magickal and be filled with your intent
- set up an altar for your ancestors and pray to it everyday when you wake up or before bed, you can also leave offerings on there
- carry crystals or amulets you have made in your pocket or around your neck for them to work their magick
- enchant things such as makeup brushes or jewellery
- pretty self explanatory but you can write in your book of shadows or grimoire everyday
- have a moon chart which shows the stages of the moon each month and mark when you would like to practise your spells based on what moon phase will be most beneficial
- grow a garden filled with lots of different plants and trees and bushes, everyday go out and spend time in it to clear your mind and become more in tune with your spirituality and intuition
I hope this helped some of you’s! Feel free to add more suggestions below, happy enchanting ✨

Self Love Jar Spell💕
Hey! So a few months ago I finally had the time to write my own jar spell. I've always had body image issues and issues with loving myself and what not and I wanted to make a jar spell to help guide me on my path to self love. So here's what you'll need;
Items needed:
1 red candle
1 pink candle
Rose quartz
Clear quartz
Dried rose petals or rose buds (white/red/or pink roses will work)
Seashells (this one is optional, it will be used as an offering for aphrodite to aid in your spell)
A self love sigil (you could make your own or use the one I made)
Sugar
Rosemary
Basil
Cinnamon
Thyme
Directions:
When casting the spell, you must focus on the intent that will go into the jar spell. Think about self love, think about how you want to love yourself, think about loving the parts of you that you hate, think about the happiness and the freedom you will gain once you learn to love yourself completely.
Before casting the spell, make sure to gather the items you'll need. Once you've done that, then you can light the red and pink candles (white candles could also be used to substitute for either the pink or red candle).
With the self love sigil, you must safely and carefully burn it and place the ashes in a bowl to further grind it if you want it to be a finer ash and not so chunky.
Place the rose quartz and the clear quartz by the candles, along with the dried rose petals/rose buds and the seashells (if you want to use seashells for the offering).
Then, if you want to call aphrodite for help, keep reading, if not go to step 6. But before you start the actual spell, you must meditate for a minute to contact aphrodite, tell her you have an offering for her and that you would like for her to help you with the self love spell, she loves to join in for spells that deal with any form of love/self love. If you so wish to, tell her about yourself, tell her which parts of yourself you want to love, tell her why you want to love yourself and she will help aid you. (I got really emotional talking to her during this part of the spell, but she listened and gladly helped me with the spell)
While visualizing the intent and saying the chant, you will layer the herbs and spices in the order that they are listed above. Before reaching the top, sprinkle in the ashes from the sigil as well as some of the dried rose petals or rose buds. Into the jar and seal it with the wax from the red and pink candle. (If you want to amp it up a bit, you could add some rose quartz chips to the jar spell as well.)
Close off the spell by thanking aphrodite for her help before blowing out the candles. Carry the jar spell around with you as much as you can, or keep it in a safe place where you can see it every day, it really helps.
Chant:
I am worthy, I am brave and bold, by the power of the sun, the moon, and the stars, my heart with love will forever hold, as the goddess aphrodite, I too am as beautiful and radiant, from my head to my toes, I vow to learn to love myself wholeheartedly and with obedience, for this body is my home, the only vessel my soul can call its own.
This jar spell is meant to aid you in your journey in self love, it will take time to work completely, but it will help, its already helped me a lot so far, but I am still on my journey to self love. Also, the charm that's hanging around the jar is just something I like to add, you don't necessarily have to add one if you don't want to. I also listened to "Gone With The Sin" by HIM while I did this spell, you could listen to this song too or any song that makes you feel happy and all lovey dovey. This song for me, worked as another aid in my spell.
I hope this jar spell helps you in any way in your journey to self love!🖤💖

Witchcraft for Beginners🔮
So you’re interested in becoming a witch and it’s brought you here to my page. Witchcraft is a practice open to everyone of all different cultures and backgrounds. Its not a religion.
Step 1: Decide if you want to actually practice a religion or not. There are a multitude of different religions that incorporate witchcraft but witchcraft itself is a practice and there are no rules.
Step 2: What are you interested in? What calls you to the most. Crystals, earth magic, candle magic, moon magic, herbs and spices, astrology, tarot reading? Decide what you want to look into. Its your practice after all. No one can tell you what to do other than you.
Step 3: The world is an endless pool of information. Theres tons of online sources you can look into. Used book stores are a great place to find affordable spiritual books.
Okay so you’ve made it this far. Here are some beginner tools and things I recommend.
Set up an altar. This can be anything from an old towel, or cardboard box, to a wooden dresser or bed side table. You can keep this literally in your closet, somewhere out in the open, you can make a mini altar that hides underneath your bed or in a draw. The possibilities are endless get creative with it.
Cabinet spices. You dont need to spend a fortune on an aesthetic apothecary. Everyone has kitchen spices such as cinnamon just laying around. (cinnamon is good for luck, love, and protection. Basil can be used for wealth, luck, and courage. Dandelions increase your psychic power and bring good luck)
Stock up on white candles. White candles can be substituted for any other color and used for any intent at all.
Clear quartz is a wonderful starter crystal. It charges all other crystals and can be substituted for any other crystals you do not have.
If you cant afford crystals, dont be afraid to go outside and pick up rocks that call to you. Different colored rocks have different properties the same as crystals
Don’t attempt black magic until you’ve mastered protection magic. You do not by any means have to practice dark magic unless it interests you. Black magic is like straight sex, always use protection.
For beginners at the dark arts. You can also use things lying around the kitchen cabinets. (Cayenne pepper can be used in casting OR breaking hexes)
Collect various jars and containers. You dont need to go out and purchase millions of glass jars with cork lids. As they may be aesthetically pleasing, empty jam and jelly jars work just the same. You can also get mason jars in bulk pretty cheap at the dollar store.
Collect different kinds of dirt and water. Dirt from specific places. Water from rivers, oceans, ponds, storms, etc. all have different properties.
☽ Simplicity Spell
A spell to help cleanse any area or aspect of your life, leaving you with a sense of peace.
Ingredients:
One white candle
A piece of paper
A pen or pencil
Clear quartz of any shape or size
To Begin:
Reflect upon what it is you’d like to cleanse with the piece of clear quartz close to your head or heart for clarity. This will help when you need to think clearly on what it is you need, want, and plan to discard
Write down whatever it is you want to declutter – be it your room, mind, closet, something more specific or more vague
Light the candle close to what you’d like to declutter
Let it burn for a minute, then quietly observe the flickering flame. Once a minute is up, place the paper over the flame and let it burn. As it finishes, blow out the candle and let the smoke cleanse the area
Begin the decluttering process and, if you begin to feel overwhelmed, hold the clear quartz close to your chest.

100 ways to incorporate magick in your daily life.
I understand that these are not exactly all witchy but this is about intergreting your everyday life in your practice and appreciating as well as finding magick in the most mundane and simple things that we often miss out on. ♡
1. When you wake up, before grabbing your phone or getting out of bed, take a few seconds to breathe, and stretch all your limbs.
2. Say ‘’thank you’’ to your god/goddess/deity, or simply to acknowledge how lucky you are to live another day.
3. Open the window regardless of the weather and take a big breath of fresh air. This will not only cleanse the room but also your body.
4. If it’s raining outside or snowing, take a minute to admire the beauty of it.
5. Pick wildflowers (please don’t pick any endangered flowers or toxic ones, do your research).
6. Dry said wildflowers and put them in your Book of Shadows or any book or journal you are using.
7. Go for a walk in nature during the day and during the night as well.
8. Sunbathe.
9. Moonbathe.
10. Light lots of candles.
11. If your room needs a cleaning, try to make your own household products naturally using your favorite scents and clean your room with them.
12. Change your bed sheets and pillowcases.
13. If you have a clothing line, hang your clothes, blankets, sheets, comforters, pillowcases, underwear outside. Visualize the wind cleansing them.
14. Grow your own favorite herbs.
15. Buy a succulent.
16. Dry your herbs and save them for bath magick, spells, teas or rituals.
17. Sweep the floor and visualize yourself sweeping off all negativity out of the room.
18. Sprinkle sea salt over areas that you feel have a negative energy to purify them.
19. Make your own purifying/cleansing spray.
20. Take a hot, soothing bath. I am a sea witch so I find this particularly helpful when I miss the ocean/the beach. (Don’t forget to add herbs, essential oils, sea salt, flowers, crystals, or anything that has magickal properties for a magickal bath)
21. Sip a cup of your favorite herbal tea.
22. For kitchen witches, try brewing your own tea, and cooking meals with intention and magickal ingredients.
23. Make charm bags.
24. Water your herb garden by hand.
25. Show the people you love that you love them.
26. Show some love to your pets and spend a few extra minutes with them.
27. Light up your favorite incense.
28. Keep a small bag of your favorite herb (for example: lavender) in a drawer, so when you feel stressed, just pop the bag open for a deep breath of calming aromatherapy.
29. When you take a shower, visualize the water neutralizing your energy and washing off all the bad stuff.
30. Bless your morning coffee or tea.
31. Keep a daily journal, whether it’s a Book of Shadows, a daily planner/organizer or a dream journal.
32. If you wanna be low-key and discrete about your craft, draw small sigils all over everything. Your school notebooks, pencil cases, journals, shoes, etc.
33. Read lots of books about magick and form your own opinion/path/views/beliefs.
34. If you read fictional stories, allow yourself to get lost in them and let your mind wander and escape.
35. Put on your favorite clothes, makeup, shoes, or whatever little thing that makes you feel fabulous, even if you’re staying in.
36. Be proud of your body.
37. Practice self-care.

39. Go to the beach
40. Go to the forest.
41. Go to the desert.
42. Go to the mountains.
43. If it’s warm outside, make a bonfire and admire the flames. If it’s winter and you have a fireplace, light it up.
