Xemnas event is here! And it’s! Impossible. Yaaay. Unlike previous events, this event was not changed from JPUX to NAUX–usually the level is halved, which made it a perfect level of difficulty for NAUX. This month, that’s not the case. Pissed about it? Complain on their contact and their twitter. Pissed about it and don’t want to bother them? Complain on the confessions blog. (I don’t really want to hear about it here, tbh, it just clutters my inbox. ;D )

The Medal: 5 SP Multi-target Dark Power Medal. Lowers the PSM Defense of all enemies by 1 for 1 turn. He hits pretty hard, not too bad guilted. Overall, not as impressive as the last couple Org 13 medals, but dark power is rare, sooo, eh. His PSMDef-1 is at least something of a utility, so try to grab one. They’re offered on quest 3, 5, 8, and I assume 10-13, for a total of 7.

Other Rewards: Ducklings and Mirrors spattered around, Quest #9 has the Hairstyle–the boy’s is harder to obtain than the girl’s. It’s unlikely this hair style will be offered again, as so far no Organization hairstyles have returned; but one can still hope.

Quest Types & Tips: Only two types, and both very similar. You’ll fight either Story Bosses or Raid Bosses of various levels (most higher than original form), and must defeat them within a timelimit to get rewards. I have… honestly, no tips for much of any of it. Most are pretty easy up to #7, at which point it goes insane, so… I’m just gonna be real honest and offer my exact strategy.

#7 (Savage Spider): Three Wishes with iKairi, Moana, Xmas Sora, Donald, [Def+], Snow White. You need more than one medal to cure b/c you can be put to sleep and paralyzed, and you’ll want one of those medals to be Snow White so that you can also Esuna away Poison. Moana boosts Xmas Sora (important for his Def+) and Donald (main damage-dealer). Any medal with the skill Def+1 or Def+2 will help a lot in that last slot. I didn’t finish in the timelimit.

#8 (Guard Armor): Treasure Trove with iKairi, Alice (Def+), Maui, Meowjesty, Meowjesty, SP+. No status effects here, so you only need one cure medal. He gives himself Def+2 to start and PSMDef+1 or GenDef+1 at his leisure throughout the fight. You need to bring Alice (or Belle/Zero/Antisora, but those are more expensive), preferably with Def+. Then, Maui to boost a couple Meowjesties that follows. Finally, something for regaining SP–I was ultra blessed with a partner’s Key Art #1, but with luck, any SP+ skill will suffice due to the enemy’s SP drop rates. You’ll have to repeat this one a lot, Def+ needs to activate or you’ll die. I didn’t finish in the timelimit.

#9 (Snowman): scream. I’m stuck on this one. It does about 7k damage with 38k defense, so the only way I could beat it is if Def+2 procced every single round, and SC activated when it does its crazy super-attack. It also has just… so much HP. It likewise has PSMDef+ that needs to be removed, potentially every round. With only one f2p single-target speed medal (Larxene), this boss just really isn’t feasible. If anyone has a f2p strategy (no guilted non-event medals, no guilted HSE medals) within the time limit, I’d love to see it. My only suggestion right now is Def+ and Poison, but Poison proc rate is crazy low, so… :/

Give Kairi fucking character development.

Don’t ignore her. Don’t write her in for the sake of writing her in. Don’t use Sora’s love for her as a way of giving her screen time or purpose.

You created her, gave her a face and a voice, and placed her in a trio with two essential (and main) characters. You named her one of the most important titles in the series: a Princess of Heart.

Live up to it.

• The dusks like to fuck with Roxas as he sleeps. They draw shit on his face and tie up his hair.

• Kairi escapes from jail in the world that never was because Demyx was too lazy to watch over her

• Kairi escapes by communicating with Dusks through wiggling

• Kairi is caught by Demyx, to which she punches him in the face repeatedly. She then proceeds to allow herself to get caught again so Saïx wont kill Demyx.

•Demyx finds a stray Pluto and he and Roxas beg to keep him. Saïx allows this.

• Luxord becomes tiny in wonderland and questions reality. He then becomes giant and proceeds to flirt with the queen of hearts.

• Luxord can no longer enter the Castle that Never Was because he’s too huge

• Vexen makes a shit ton of clones of himself, most of which kind of just hang out in Castle Oblivion and harass the Riku clone.

• One of the clones goes back to TWTNW to get revenge against the organization, and ends up killing Xaldin.

• Yen Sid makes a sock for Sora’s Keyblade. It looks like Mickey Mouse.

• Xaldin has an existential crisis about dried fruit.

• Demyx and Xion play Twister

• No one pays attention to Xemnas during his monologueing.

• Xaldin eats a fruit that makes him laugh uncontrollably.

• Xigbar getting a cold is conflict

• Saïx is basically the entire Organization’s babysitter

• Marluxia and Larxene get KFC for lunch

• Sora smushes cotton candy in Seifer’s face

• Vexen, Zexion, and Lexaeus have a chore chart

• Luxord is legitimately upset that he didn’t get a dramatic entrance to reveal himself to Sora

• Marluxia has a cloud of flowers that perpetually floats behind him. The dusks hate him because they have to clean up the petals.

There’s a tier 11 now. So we can complete both the avatar boards by just getting to the last tier instead of 30/999 and crying.

Def 3 for top 2500. Only take 20% of damage!

Adorable Mice ears for 250,000 people… so like, basically everyone.

TR Mickey for getting to Tier 11 by Nov 3rd. Hurry! And yes, this is the same TR Mickey as from like month one’s Proud Quests. It’s sometimes useful, mostly against bombs/eggs.
