Morning excursion to Cefalu, where i didn't so much as dip my toe in and just decided to burn instead 🤣. And yes white lotus was filmed here. Never watched it so i'm like sure okay cool.

But I had a brioche con gelato to cool me down. Don't let the locals tell you how to eat it tho. A spoon is necessary. Trust me, be a tourist. It's okay 😭😅

Had my first fun interaction with locals there too. Asked a bunch of teenagers whether it was worth walking up to this viewpoint and I was like I'm gonna blame u if it's not worth it 🤣 oooh I'm in my old person era and I love it. Old people can get away with saying anything 🤣

Then in the afternoon, an excursion to Monreale Cathedral. Actually very stunning inside and I've seen many, many opulent churches.

Anyway went rogue, and went off on my own... again... for dinner 😁

Mangia e bevi (onions wrapped in pork belly), fried eggplant pasta and strawberry pistachio granita. 😅😅 it was good. I was happy. Urghhhh but now i cant sleeeep.
