“I — I can’t call nii-chan!” She exclaimed quickly, a sense of dread overcoming her. “He’ll just get angry and lecture me!” The last thing Karen wanted to hear right now was one of her brother’s episode long speeches. “Besides, he’d just insist that I’d come home, and if I didn’t, he’d come over…” She murmured, calmed down slightly, a still somewhat upset, and surprised expression on her face as she spoke.

She walked out of the pornfort, out of her room, and out to the garden...

“I … I know I shouldn’t have left — but I didn’t know what else to do!” Karen exclaimed, feeling the defensive barrier she had felt around herself to keep in her emotions slowly crumbling. “I didn’t want to stay there — it felt .. so cold, and unaccepting, I couldn’t stand it.” She murmured, her tone slowly lowering, her eyes floating down to the ground. “I just … I can’t go back yet — I don’t want to talk to her again, at least not yet…” Karen sighed — staring down blankly at the floor. For once, Karen admitted to herself that she had no idea what she should do.

She raised a hand to lightly rub Karen's back, hoping to sooth her somewhat. "But it has to be you... I can't do this... It's not my place."

There was no putting it off anymore — it seemed Suruga was put on knowing. “..My mother found out about us the other evening…” She murmured, staring blankly down at her feet. “She said she refused to let her daughter be a filthy lesbian, and that we needed to break up.” She explained, her upper teeth pressing against her lip, a small frown forming on her lips. ” — so I ran away, alright?” Karen finished, her fingers digging bitterly into her shorts.

"You know you are always welcome here. My grandparents might think I'm... well... odd, but they'd never turn me away, or you for that matter. But, I don't want you to have a hard time because of me. I love you, Karen-chan. I have no doubts about that. And that means that I'll do whatever it takes to make sure you stay happy."

“I know —” Came a quick response, a faint smile tracing her lips. “There are just somethings that I don’t want to worry about.” She tried to explain, chuckling nervously. She quickly shook her head, before asking. “So — Truth or Dare, Suruga-chan?”

Kanbaru crossed her arms and frowned. "You know, I don't know if I feel like playing a game with someone who is keeping things from me and rubbing it in my face." She scratched her ear and looked to the side. "I love you so much... That's why I'm upset about this. I understand you need to keep things to yourself sometimes, but if you're going to dance around the subject, you should just come out and tell me what the problem is..."

Karen sat back down, beginning to listen to the other girl’s question. Oh my, this would be a tricky one. “A—ahahah — the last lie I told..?” She was going to have to be honest here, wasn’t she? “Well — I might have lied about being alright earlier.” She admitted with a nervous chuckle, her hand reaching up to rub the back of her head awkwardly.

"Well I should think I know you well enough to have figured that much out..." she mumbled softly as a sympathetic frown crossed her face. "You know... You can tell me what's on your mind... No matter what it is!"

A coincidence — ? Karen paused slightly — shaking it off with a small, detectable pout. It was only a few seconds later that her smile bounced back onto her lips. Raising one finger up — pointing it towards the ceiling, Karen stood up. “I’ll take the road of truths!” She declared, one hand resting on her hip. “I’m not afraid of spilling secrets, or sharing the deepest depths of my soul to the one I love!”

Kanbaru wasn't about to tell Karen how much satisfaction she got from that reaction. She couldn't help it that a jealous Karen was very endearing. "Alright," Kanbaru replied coyly. "What was the last lie you told?"

She started to turn towards Shizune, but realized that drawing attention to their conversation was probably not wanted at the moment. Instead she looked at her forms and shuffled them. "So if the prez knows, then is she...?" Suruga tilted her head to the side expectantly before shaking her head like an Etch-A-Sketch. "Never mind, it's not my place to ask."

She took a deep breath and looked down to gain composure. Just get it out there. If she freaks out, she freaks out. If not, it'll be nice to have someone you can confide in. Looking back up, she gave Misha a transfixed, determined look. "Misha, I like girls... I like them in a physical and romantic sense..." She took another deep breath before finishing her little speech, since she realized that she had been holding her breath for what felt like an eternity. "I figured I should get that out there if we're going to be working together. I hope that's not going to be an issue."

“Well, anyways, how about yourself, Suruga-chan?” She said, sitting down in an arm chair across from Kanbaru’s. “Turufu or darru?”
