I think as a culture we have all forgotten that fandom is supposed to be fun.

It’s not that serious.

It was never supposed to be that serious.

Especially since most of the drama and hurt revolves around shipping.

All of the ships are fictional. Being canon doesn’t actually negate the fact that the ship isn’t real.

No ship, or any aspect of a fictional universe, is important enough to treat another real life human being badly.

Rewatching Supernatural for the millionth time:

Just got to Season 2 Ep. 1 and I feel like this episode is where we see the beginning of Dean’s suicidality; he’s with Tessa, ready to give up everything bc he realizes there is an end to the story and he can choose it. But then bc of John’s deal (it’s always John’s fault) the choice is ripped right from his arms. And he seemingly spends the rest of the series trying to get back to the moment of peace when he chose his fate and couldn’t get the ending he felt he deserved. You can see it in the lines hes always spouting about how he’s destined for an early grave and “the game” is going to take him out. In the end he was right, an early grave while hunting is exactly what he got.

Every time I see a post along the lines of "Inside Out 2 would've had Horny as an emotion if they weren't cowards," all I can think is, "that exists, it's called Big Mouth/Human Resources, and everyone on tumblr decided it was horrible and ugly instead of actually watching it. Even though it's better than you'd think. Not for everyone, sure, but funny as hell and incredibly heartfelt in later seasons if you're into that sort of thing."

I'm just sayin'. It's right there. It does exist. You don't have to watch it or enjoy it if it's not your thing, but if you genuinely want "raunchy Inside Out," it definitely already exists on Netflix.
