like. no. you arent old, youre fucking 30, and if youre in constant pain there is something wrong and you may be able to actually DO something about it if you acknowledge it!!!!

I'm a lot older than 30, and my history includes motorcycle accidents, getting shot, tearing tendons, breaking bones, dislocating a shoulder, etc

yet I only feel pain when I do things that I can easily avoid, neglect to do mobility work after hard physical activity, use bad ergonomics, or just do something stupid

if you're relatively young and feeling pain unrelated to a physical injury, talk to someone who's an expert in physiology or physical therapy

if you have good health insurance, get thee to a doctor or a physical therapist who can diagnose what's going on and put you on a treatment or maintenance program

living with unnecessary pain can lead to or mask chronic illness

it is NOT normal to be in pain all the time, actually, and while there's many reasons you might be in pain that aren't hEDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobile subtype), i feel like you should nonetheless consider the possibility that you have it due to it is (1) THE chronic pain condition; having chronic pain is one of the major three things that will make you eligible for an hEDS diagnosis (2) WILDLY underdiagnosed in patients, because doctors assume it's literally anything else before considering a hEDS diagnosis. (article that touches on that here, but you'll find experts speculating that the actual number of ppl with hEDS may be underestimated all over)

other reasons to consider it besides the chronic pain: extremely flexible (such as: can still bend down and touch your toes or the floor despite being thirty), joints do or have dislocated frequently in your life, you bruise easily, your cuts take forever to heal. OR from any of the don't-sound-like-they-should-be-related-but-are-nonetheless-comorbid issues: migraines, gastrointestional issues, dental issues due to crowding, or (yes, really) ADHD. also worth considering if you have either POTS or MCAS for that matter.
