Hey. I noticed that your Elvish language grammar is a very good resource, but it missing some basic things as superlatives and comparatives. I think this is an excellent language so far and can only become better. Thanks :)
Aw, thank you very much!
I actually have been working on the language a lot since I first posted that grammar, and I need to do a revised edition with the new stuff at some point, but I totally forgot about comparatives and superlatives. Thank you for letting me know, and if there’s anything else missing that you want to see, don’t hesitate to pop me another ask! :D
I would like to note that this blog is mostly archival at this point, so if I post new stuff, it’ll most likely be on my main blog, @svartalfhild.
Will you ever continue/finish Calimport? I really hope so, I love it. But I understand if not.
I definitely want to! It’s just a question of getting back into a Baldur’s Gate state of mind, for lack of a better term. I’ve had most of the next chapter finished for a long while now, but it’s been some time since I’ve felt that spark of inspiration, so I’ve been unable to complete it. I have the whole plot planned out for the most part and I still remember those ideas, so all is not lost. I just don’t know when I’ll be able to pick it up again.
Thank you so much for letting me know that you like it, though! Part of what made me fall off the Calimport horse is feeling like nobody cared and hearing that someone does means a lot to me.

Yo, Rasaad romance question since I can't find anything in Google. I know the last convo in SoD (the one about Skie) can go well or very, very bad... Does the latter get any sort of mention/resolution at all in BG2? It would be great for Charname to get some catharsis because that was Not Cool, Rasaad.
As far as I know, he has no reactivity to it beyond pretending as if he has never met Charname, as per his line in SoD which promises such.Â
It’s a cheap and unsatisfying continuity, but to be fair, Beamdog have yet to add reactivity to much of anything in SoD to BG2, as far as I can tell. I do remember seeing a few lines in the main quest tweaked, but that was about it. I imagine Beamdog were so focused on getting SoD and the new UI ready for release that they couldn’t spend much time on that. I would hope, however, that they have plans to add more reactivity in future updates.
